If the female version of you brings snowy weather in July up in a conversation one day before the twentieth of January what do you do?

I'd probably wonder what the hell was going on.

If you made plans with your significant other, but your buddies want you to go to the bar, would you tell your significant other the truth or would you make up a story so you could hang out with your buddies. I dare you to tell the truth. lol :P

If I already had plans with my significant other, I wouldn't take up my friend's offer in the first place.

But I suppose, if that was the case, I'd tell her the truth.

What's it like to be a solider? You know I'm ready for it myself.

Well, the feeling you first get when you relize that you're no longer a civilian is pretty great actually. Dedication, loyalty... You know that feeling you get when you suddenly have a purpose, a mission to fill. You're no longer just you.

Then you get used to it. It starts to feel normal, then you can't even tell what being a civilian felt like. All the visions of glory and honor fade, you drop down to ground level and the need to get your job done comes in (it'll stick with you for good btw, better get used to it).
You start to see through all the hassle, and start respecting how it all comes together.

As a job it's very practical and social, not much theory to it. If you want to do well, just be active and take initiative. If you're enthusiastic you need to show it by working hard. Just being positive is never enough.
One mistake that I made was that I did all I was told to do, but I didn't do anything extra. In an enviroment that works like a big machine and everything needs to get done, it's the extra that counts.

Nobody has called me that in about a year. So I guess not.

I dunno. I joined up eight days after 2008 ended.

If it was anything like it was in 2009, I can safely say that it was a really nice place. No trolling sprees, no crazy "random" people trying to act funny all the time. There was a lot more Spyro-related discussion since DotD had just come out.
