Amazing Homemade Weed Killer [CLOSED]

This stuff really works and you can make it for like 6 bucks. Me and my dad used it yesterday and in 2 hours the weeds were dead. Here's the recipe:


  • 1 cup (8 oz) of Sea Salt (you can buy it at your local supermarket)
  • 1 gallon of vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of Dawn dish detergent (I think other brands will do as well)

Try it. It really works.

My friend one using oranges and lemons. It's so acidic that the patch he sprayed it on is a little stubby, he sprayed 6 years ago

Cool, but what about the rest of garden? Would it kill my flowers, vegitables, herbs? I think I'll stick to weeding by hand.

No, it wouldn't. Not unless you squirt too much on them. Just look at the mixture, it has no dangerous chemicals or anything.

This really looks safer to use, it wouldn't be harmful to children or animals. I'm going to try it, dandelions are a pain in the butt to get rid of, maybe this will work.

I think I would make an okay botanist, but a horrible florist.
