7th Banishment Ceremony
Electrifying Cynders
Team EC, with newly added member DummyZ, filed into the temple's main room and took seats at the pedestal. Seiki had an unusually confident look. HIR stood across from them, with the Urn of Anguish resting on a small table. "Welcome to the final team banishment." He paused for a moment. "Hmm, there's something different about you guys." He added, facetiously forgetting that DummyZ was there.
"Can we just get to the part where I get banished." DummyZ sighed.
"What makes you think you're getting banished?" HIR asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Why else would they drag me onto their team right before the merge. They wanted the numbers." DummyZ grumbled.
"Yes, Seiki, why did you deploy that Rocket Wisp." HIR inquired, turning toward Seiki.
"I did what I had to do in order to make sure I would make it to the merge." Seiki replied.
"You're that confident your teammates would pick choose to vote for friendship instead of strategy? At this point, you probably want to be gunning for the toughest player." The host explained.
"Well DummyZ practically shouldered his team on his back Day 6. If it wasn't for DragonCamo's Magic Eraser, we would have pretty much been single handedly beaten by him." Seiki explained. "I figured that's pretty threatening."
"You're a bunch of cheaters! One of us Flaming Spyros will win ALL the immunity challenges and send you all packing." DummyZ grumbled.
"Hey now. I haven't even read the votes yet." HIR quipped. "With that said, BrutalBash, Seiki, and DragonCamo, you're all safe." They all let out sighs of relief. "Crystalhero couldn't bring herself to cast a vote for anyone, but in the end it was insignificant." HIR continued. "Which means..." HIR presses the button on his wristwatch and DummyZ is flipped up into the air and lands in the mud pit. "...That it's time for you to go, DummyZ."
DummyZ sloshed out of the muck and gave a disapproving look toward the EC members. "You'll all get what's coming to you!" He promised before stomping off. HIR turned back to face them.
"I hope you've enjoyed your time together, because I think it's high time we sever the ties you have to each other." He stated. He reached into the urn and produced four sparkling yellow medallions. The host tossed one to each of the ECs. "As of now, there is no more Flaming Spyros and no more Electrifying Cynders. You are all the Smoldering Embers."
"That's an awful name." DragonCamo muttered under his breath.
"The former Flaming Spyros have already made their way to your cabana, where you'll all be staying for the remainder of the competition. I think it's time you went back." HIR continued. "Oh, one more thing," He added, before tossing out several rags and bottles of bleach and tile-cleaner. "They're pretty dirty. So you're going to want to clean up."

Competition Beach
The seven remaining players stream onto the beach. It was clear how nervous they all were about the first individual challenge. But instead of finding HIR awaiting them, they saw a Toad with blond hair, a pink shirt, and sunglasses standing in front of a large neon slot machine. "Hey, you're not HIR!" Sparxis noted, echoing the narrator's earlier statements.
"That's correct. I'm far too handsome to be some stupid geek host." The Toad responded.
"Well then who are you?" Pika asked, clearly unamused.
"I am..." The Toad began, only to stop. "Ahem, cue theme music, please." He spoke aloud, to no one in particular.
MOAR FLAVOR MUSIQUE
"That's better." The Toad turns back to the competitors. "Hi there, I'm Zip Toad. You may remember me from hosting such well known reality competitions as So You Think You Can Flamenco Dance, The Z-Factor, and, of course, the Bachelorette." Zip Toad introduced himself, popping up his shirt collar and striking a pose.
"Where's HIR?" CommanderGame asked, clearly unamused.
"Eh, I heard some stuff about reading to underprivileged pirates in Somalia." Zip Toad dismissed with a flip of his hair. "If you ask me, it's probably because everyone hates him and thinks he's a lousy host. He doesn't have nearly the star power as I do! Otherwise, he would have been cast as Auric Goldtalon instead of me. Critics say it was one of my best performances." He flashes a pair of thumbs up.
"Can you tell us what the competition is, already?" Crystalhero asked.
"Right, right. Today's competition is purely luck based, or are your eyes so bad you all failed to notice the MASSIVE SLOT MACHINE behind me?" Zip Toad steps away to reveal the large slot machine. "Let's get ready to Spin to Win, baby! Like I did when I starred in Aces High, which earned me one of my 300 Oscars."
