I'm sitting at around 400 gems right now... what are the "best" things to spend gems on?

Ive saved up over 800 coins in a couple of months playing. Im waiting for the radiant fields to go on "sale" and the upgaded adventure ship as well. Last time it was in sale I didnt have enough yet for 1

I'm a big fan of the Giant houses. They're limited edition, have a decent payout, and you can recoup part of their cost since they can reward gems.

I've been trying to save up for all the shrines... 1000 gold per hour plus wish stones on that element's day is a pretty good payout IMO.

Good question though. I have been wondering myself whether there is a better approach...
