One of my favorite companions is Jamie McCrimmon but I don't think we'll ever see him return, except in audio stories. His memory of all his adventures with the Doctor except his first were even wiped by the time lords... Point being, once a companion leaves, they are usually gone for good. Not always though.

Moffat decided to hate the fans that can't afford to go to comic con I guess? It's supposed to be a "Comic Con Exclusive Trailer" now too... So who knows. At least we got a description.

I think he's gonna be alright as the Doctor, he was really good in his role in Torchwood... The only issue I have is that he had too big a role in Torchwood. It's the same canon, and they would get away with it if he had a smaller role but he was one of the most important roles in Torchwood...

...I dunno, I'm just a little disappointed that they could have chosen someone who hadn't already had such a big part.

They've done something similar in the past. The sixth Doctor appeared as a Time Lord in a pretty big part in the Arc of Infinity before he was the Doctor.

If only. I once had a dream that Cybermen were converting people at my old school and one of my professors that has a TARDIS in his office thought it was all fake. I was sneaking people away and then the 9th Doctor showed up to stop the Cybermen. It was cool.

In an enormous influx of Doctor Who news today, later this week formerly missing episodes of Doctor Who will be released digitally from the first and second Doctors!!!
