Fortunately normal collectors wont be afected by this.

Actually, you only need to buy the 16, as to swap you'd need to take out of the box. So I say just don't swap or buy separate swaplanders for when you really do want to swap.

I sayed true collectors not the ones that skip the varients

the people who would want 256 characters are the same ones who leave them in the box. since that won't work here, I doubt many (if more than 2 or 3 in the world) will actively buy 17 of each Swaplanders (1 to display in box and 16 to open & make all possible combinations with) since those 256 will have no resale value and no "collectable" value.

The idea is fairly silly anyway. No one buys multiple Lego set with minifigs so they can have 500 different Spiderman torsos + Batman legs +Han Solo heads in every possible combination. why would you with Skylanders?

i read (if its true) that you only need 4 of them to unlock all the secret paths ingame...

there are 8 movement types, so you'd need 8 Swaplanders to enter all the movement areas

okay, same as last time then.... i guess no one know if you need a specific one to enter one of the path yet? or if you can just buy anyone of the 32 swappers..

I would assume they'll be sorted so you can have a set of 8 Swaplanders that are all 8 movement types and all 8 elements.

I'm waiting to see what Gamemaster will do!

if i buy swap force and it is more than 8............I AM DONE..no moar skylanders,,,,,,
