I have only one wish... PLEASE MAKE THE PORTAL WIRELESS!!! I play Giants (Wii U) with my old wireless Wii portal, please don't make me have to plug a portal in! my cats tend to randomly attack any kind of wire, I'll be setting there playing an old console game with a wired controller and BAM! controller goes flying across the room!

The only portals shown thus far appear to be wired, sorry.

And you will pay out of the butt for batteries or rechargables that wear out too fast.

They made the portals wired, because the portals were draining fast enough with the first game. However, Lightcores would have made the batteries drain even faster. Now imagine Swap Force, as well as Lightcore, draining batteries even further.

mm, i want it to be wireless too..but it doesnt look that way at the moment, id love for them to come out with 2 options wired/wireless...but i cant see that happening either, i dont like how some consoles came out with wired and others didnt with the previous games, all consoles support wireless, why not have a detachable usb cable like the 3ds with wireless built in as well?

good point..i was about to say that ive had the ps3 wireless one running on a single set of batteries for my full play through of SSA + multiplayer games, but then that didnt have lightcore, lightcores constant drain on power makes more sense to be used on a wired portal.

There was a rechargeable battery pack for the wireless portal.

Just make the portal have a detachable wire like playstation controllers! that way, they look cool when stored, and can be charged/plugged into the console!

All Portals being released for Swap Force will be wired as the battery's for these will drain so fast that it can't handle it.

Just train your damn cats! The lack of discipline your cats have isn't the problem of the developers!!

Eventually they might have a detachable cord. So you can pick if you wanna waste your mine on batteries or save money by plugging it in. I would use the detachable cord for when I put the portal on my shelf.

It's a shame it would cost too much to design it so that they communicate wirelessly, but draw power via USB.

This way, you could be as far away as you want, so long as you're near enough to a wall outlet and have a USB-to-AC adapter.

I have a wireless portal, its a bit of a pain to recharge the batteries so frequently. I wouldn't mind a cord portal

There has to be something out there similar to what I posted that will work with the portal.

wired is WAY better. Get some water and dump it over your cats head! hahah sorry i dont like cats. But yeah, batteries are stupid and interupt game play when they die.

Batteries are no issue for me. With this I am wireless and if the batteries die I simply plug it in the wall and can continue playing. Then when I am done playing I leave it plugged in to charge back up.
