i think its washbuckler since he is in the starter pack and hes more of a main character than blast zone

Magna Charge to me has the "mascot character" clout to him. I think that Wash Buckler and/or Blast Zone are also good contenders, but just in the same way we saw Pop Fizz and Jet-Vac early in the release of info for Giants, and they're at best second fiddle to Tree Rex.

Guess we'll probably have to see though.

There aren't any main characters. Poster boys perhaps.

Stealth elf was at the front of the lineup on Spyro's Adventure's boxart.

The only one with an actual lead character is Spyro's Adventure. However, that was only because the series was just beginning it's life as a new series inspired by a previous one.

Tree Rex is the de facto main for Giants because he was the first one scene and in the adventure pack but really there is never a main character in Skylanders.

Yeah, they're making all Skylanders have equal status, but they mentioned that Spyro is a first among equals.
