This time around, unless there's an online PvP mode and downloadable content, it will just be the Starter Set and a few of my son's favorites. This is after collecting all of the S:SA, currently released S:G, all Legendaries and the easily collectable variant figures. We can't continue to justify buying every figure considering the lack of re-playability that the series has shown thus far.

It'll be interesting how much a two piece character will be. I'm thinking maybe $15 If there are 16 new character swap pairs, then to get the new characters, it will be over $200 to get them all, not including reposes.

No more reposes for me. I only got a select few for Giants. It saves some money. Id rather just get the new characters.

The only reposes I got for Skylanders: Giants were the ones that came with the starter packs and battle packs.
I'll be doing the same thing for this game since I'm getting all the new characters. smilie

id expect the swappables to be the same price as giants...as they are slightly smaller then giants..but with the added feature of being swappable.

I'll buy some new Landers, and some Swap Guys. Not really liking the new portal thing, hopefully they can just release only new games after this, instead of making us all buy a new portal and such every time.

Even if I skip all of the re-posed characters, this will not be a cheap game. Maybe frito-lay will give a way some more characters. That saved me $45 this time. smilie

starter kit comes with 2, so only 14 more to buy
but yeah, in another thread I did a rough calculation of the cost of just obtaining the main characters and found it to be about $100 more than Giants.

lets hope they give us Swap Force three packs that only cost what 2 characters do
