Rewatching all the crash scenes from Thomas the Tank Engine now as a young adult has made me realize this show was pretty savage when it came to filming these scenes. You can tell the people making them must have had the time of their lives just crashing these model trains.

That being said the Island of Sodor really needs to get itself together holy crap it's in complete disarray with how many accidents happen on the show

So I just finished re-reading the HTTYD books.

Eh, they start more childish than I remember. It was hard to push through those first few books in order to get to the better ones - #4, #5, #6, #7 and maybe #8 - but then they go to the other extreme and get a little too dark and mature. I don't know what to do now - I've watched the films, but I'm really not as interested in those to watch the TV series.

In defense, Marky Mark wasn't really having a milestone or crisis but was just some dude who repairs **** and is mad protective of his daughter. His milestones have passed and that's just who he is as a person.

It was a little refreshing for an actual common man to have been caught up in this rather than a puberty stricken teen.

Also you forgot the part where a major Autobot character (or multiples) die or seemingly die midway through the film only to come back later and kick ass.
