That's kind of what I'm saying. He went through the trouble of making this thread over one pic. I would have at least added some size comparisons and shots from each side, maybe a shot of the figure lit up in the dark. That's just me, though. I usually try to be as descriptive as possible, even in posting pics.

She worries me. With the shelf I built, there's only 3-4 inches from the front to the back, and I am betting that sword in her left hand is going to keep me from getting her on the shelf.

I keep thinking I will have to turn her slightly to the left, so the sword won't hit the back of the shelf I built, but then I wonder if her base will hang off of the shelf. This toy will be pretty interesting once I get her.

The swords are VERY flimsy, so if you can handle a little bending, she may be able to fit.

Ninjini is huge!

^ She's just about the same height as Swarm's right hand. Her ponytail gives her extra height.

Interesting. Yeah, I hate when the weapons on some Landers bend (ie Voodood's axe). Tree Rex fits perfectly, despite his bark hanging way out of his back. So, it looks like Ninjini's sword is just about as long as his bark. If so, there should be no worries.

Sorry, In order to get ebay to remove your image from his ad, you will have to report him yourself and show proof that it was your picture from an ad that was posted before his. Otherwise Ebay will not do anything if you have not used the picture for an ad on ebay. They will only do something if the copier took a picture from someone else ad from ebay. If they got it outside of Ebay, they will do nothing. Sorry.

I'm really looking forward to Ninjini - 'bout time we get a girl giant (one out of 8? really?)! I'm just worried that, much like Swarm, she won't "feel" like a giant. At least, not in the way Tree Rex or Crusher or Hot Head feel like giants. They have weight and heft and are a bit sluggish and when they move and step on chompies and break barrels by accident it feels like they really are bigger than everything else around them. Swarm to me, seems like a character that could have been normal size, and so does Ninjini. And her "jedi levitation trick" on boulders also takes away from her "giantness" - like she isn't really as strong as the real giants, and instead needs magic to do what they do with strength.

You can always report the auction due to the fact that it breaks the terms of eBay pre-sells, which state the item must ship within 30 days.

yeah, tree rex, thumpback, hot head, and eye brawl are the only ones that "feel" like giants, IMO.

and Crusher, he's definitely a giant as well. Bouncer is a little weird because of his speed but I can still buy him as a giant.

Swarm though, feels wrong for him to be so sluggish. He's a bee! he should be fast and agile. Lightning Rod would have made a better giant. It's even there in his story: he's a storm giant! I like that they wanted to do a totally different species but giant bee might not have been the best idea. A roc maybe, or if they really wanted an insect, a large beetle-type.

and on a totally separate note, why isn't he called "Beehomoth"?

Yes you are right about that, but he wanted to get it reported due to the fact that his picture was being used. As for the 30 days, there is nothing they will do until the 30 days are up. Who's to say that she does not come out in 15 days, I know - Highly unlikely. It would be up to the buyer to report it. That still does not keep the seller from using his picture when Ninjini comes out in Feb/Mar. In fact, when she comes out and anyone else uses that picture, he would be able to report it to Ebay and get the ad removed since he would have proof of being the first to use this picture on ebay and they would consider him the owner of the picture. I know this sucks but it is what it is.

The problem with reporting it because of the photo is that only the copyright holder can lodge a complaint - so that's up to Matt to do. He said he wasn't in a position to lodge a complaint, so I offered an alternate idea.

The listed auction does not do that. In fact, it clearly stated that, basically, he couldn't guarantee anything about when it would ship. Thus, his auction is against eBay terms and anyone can report it.

Doesn't matter much now, as the auction is removed. The seller does have another auction, but it doesn't use Matt's photo.

Possibly. I just reported the second auction last night and I see it's no longer up either.

For all the folks around here who hate eBay, they could really tick off a lot of sellers if they went through and reported all the auctions that are against eBay's terms and conditions. Between the Pre-sells that don't guarantee shipment within 30 days and the auctions that spam keywords in their titles (http://pages.ebay.com/help/pol...nipulation.html), one could really have a hay-day cleaning up eBay/Skylanders auctions.

Edit: Also, all those auctions with open figures (usually from bundles, like Gnarly Tree Rex and such) that have the item listed as "New" are also against eBay policy. http://pages.ebay.com/help/sel...ml#collectibles

Toys cannot be listed as "New" if they're open - only used. If you list them as video game accessories, they'd have to be listed as "like new" if they're open.

Her figurine has a bit of a round shape when you turn her.

Variants... Snow Flocked ones, and the Glitter ones.

That requires a LOT of patience. The only variants I've seen are TR Drill Sergeant, GITD Sonic Boom, and GITD Cynder.

Why is Ninjini so tall compared to Tree Rex? is it so she gets height to make up for her lack of width and weight?

^Don't forget that Tree Rex is in a crouching position.

There's Gamemaster. It's a simple game. We don't need tier lists or in depth analysis of a character. This isn't Pokemon...or a serious game at all. Jeez.

Ninjini does look amazing though. Really completes the magic group.

I'm designing my shelves to be 5 1/2 inches tall. Hate to do that for just a couple giants but who knows whats coming in the future.
