Figuring each standard at $100 each, an the Varients at $200 each, that only puts it at $6000...And theres no one in there right mind that is going to pay $100 bucks for a standard SSA..."sealed in box"or not.

Am I missing something here? Is he selling normal Double trouble for over $1500? Also, apologies if this was already posted, since the auction looks to be possibly very old. It's worth noting that this person seems confident that it'll sell at this price even though it's been sitting there since July, apparently.

People do this a lot if they are out of stock. Then tbey dont have ro redo the listing when new stock comes in. That is my guess anyway.

Ahh good call there. If that's what's happening then I'm going to say that I wouldn't do that if I had a eBay store. It makes him look silly, though not that most people will remember who he was or care.

It absolutely is against eBay policy, because eBay requires that a Seller actually has in-stock the number of items that s/he is currently listing. Creating a long-term listing, and then jacking-up the price if/when you "run out", just so that you can leave the listing active in the event that you might receive more stock before the listing expires ... that's intentionally avoiding eBay fees, which is a violation. I don't know how seriously eBay takes offenses involving such violations, but it definitely is against the rules.

I hope nobody gets scammed by this. It would suck for the kids to get all excited on launch day expecting the game to arrive and 2 days later a scalper sends out just the Hex figure for as much as the whole damn pre-order bundle.

That's actually Amazon's way of trying to prevent people from buying the figure as a stand-alone thing. The idea is that you put one starter pack and one Hex in your basket; upon doing that, you are given the Hex for free. So not a fail.
