I've seen Legendary light core chill but havent seen reg light core chill i'm hoping we should see her soon.

How much is to much to pay for a jade flashwing?
I really want one but don't know if i should wait for the opening of target in sping or buy one off ebay now i don't want to miss her and target might not have her by mid spring that's when targets in ajax,whitby and toronto are suppose to be opening.
What should i do

Yes we use the WIRE network, however I've never really bothered to use it.

Items which were available today:

(@ Costco Kingston)

-- Hot Head, Eye Brawl, Thumpback and Crusher ($13 each)
-- Dragonfire Cannon battle pack ($22)
-- Triple pack w/ Sonic Boom, Stump Smash & Sprocket ($22)
-- Lightcore ShroomBoom, Jet Vac, Eruptor and Drobot ($10 each)

Toys R Us Kingston also had the Scorpion Striker in stock (2, from what I saw)

Most of the other stuff was pretty normal (Flashwing, Whirlwind, Cynder, Prism Break (gone; bought him), Eruptor, ShroomBoom, Jet Vac, etc.

EB Games over by Mario's had a Slam Bam t-shirt but figure selection was pretty weak.

Didn't get to hit WalMart. Maybe next weekend, though. smilie Hope this helps someone!

Tupelo, I'd like to take a second to defend that walmart employee.
I myself work at a Walmart in Ontario in the Electronics department, and one of the most common things I get asked is "Can't you look it up in your system?"
To which my reply is always "I wish, we don't even have such a system"

Google is honestly the only way we can help a customer outside the means of the store. Because Walmart is cheap and won't invest in a nice dang inventory system.



Have you worked there long? You can look it up in the system, given either the UPC or the Wal-Mart ID, using those handheld scanners, or better yet the employee computers in the electronics department.

The results will show you (AT A MINIMUM) the quantity on hand, the quantity in transit (which will arrive in 1-2 days, or could actually be in the stock room if the truck has not been "finalized"), and the quantity on order (typcially arriving in 3 days to 3 weeks).

These 2 systems do not allow to search by product name. I believe there is a main computer (in the offices) which might.

Note that you must take all info with a grain of salt. I'm not saying all employees are like this, but there may be some which say things like "We're not getting any", "We sold out" or "They're coming next week" just so they don't have to do any work or don't know how to do it. I often find myself telling them how to do it to check.

I've been working there since September 2012. So not too long.
You're right we do have that system, however if I customer comes up and asks to look up said specific skylander. I can't look it up using the gun or computer without an item number or UPC. And since we haven't got the hotdog battle pack, I have neither. smilie

If anyone's still looking for the SS Battle-Pack, here is the Wal-Mart ID (SKU): 3051-1749. Note that this SKU most likely includes the Dragonfire Cannon Battle Pack in the same assortment, so be sure to subtract any of these on hand.

Ask an employee to run it. The battle-packs come in cases of six so if they tell you they have 11 on hand and you see 5 Dragonfire Battle packs on the shelf, then there should be a case of Battle Packs in the back. Most, but not all, Battle Packs coming in now should be the SS Battle Pack.

If they tell you there are 6 In Transit, then they'll be on the shelves the next day or the day after.

I just heard on 680 news this morning driving in that the first Target stores in Canada just opened up in Guelph, Fergus and Milton (Ontario).

If anyone here is near these new stores, please let us know if they get Jade Flashwing or not.

It will definitely fall under the same assortment as the other giant Skylander Giants, so consider yourself lucky if it (and not another giant) comes in.

I made the rounds today. There are so many Thumpback/Hot Head/Eye Brawl, it is ridiculous! Walmart's entire display. TRU had a huge bin filled to the top. EB Games was almost only these.

I also saw Scorpion Striker at Future Shop. If you don't have one by now, you aren't trying.

No new series 2. No Ninjini.

Went by Best Buy and Future Shop at Centre Laval on a tip that many Best Buys would receive a large quantity of giant Giants today and found nothing but the same old Thumpback/Hot Head/Eye Brawl as well an many repeat singles.

Both stores did get in some Hot Dogs though so for those missing, head there soon!

Saw tons of Thumpie and Eye Brawl at EB Games, along with Hot Head and Crusher. They had about 50 Scorpion Strikers (no joke), and a bunch of Wave 3's. Toys R Us was a huge disappointment though, with only five Legendary LC Chills to fill the whole display.

Went to new Target in Milton today at 1PM(ish). They had nothing except for two flashwings (regular/single).
Did not ask about Granite or Jade, but I am hoping they will carry the Granite at least. Let me know if anyone

Did you get a chance to notice the "Check Price Here" scanners at Target? At Target stores in the US, they are more advanced than most other retail stores. If you have the item SKU (or DPCI for Target), then you can enter it and the system will tell you if the item is in stock. Even better, it will tell you if there are some in the backroom.

No one knows yet if the DPCIs will be different between US and Canadian Targets but here they are from Target.com:

Jade Flashwing 207-00-1147
Granite Crusher 207-00-1144

I called around to Target yesterday and no one knew anything about Jade Flashwing so I broke down and bought one off Kijiji with Molten Hot Dog. I was getting nervous about MHD because they sold out on the Walmart.com website and didn't want to miss it. I had counted on the special Xbox bundle with green Gill Grunt coming to Canada and of course it didn't. No love for the Canadians smilie

I only paid $30 for each and everything he had was from the US so I don`t feel bad about buying them. I can`t take the time off work \ school to drive down to get them myself nor can I walk into Walmart or Target and get them. I`m just disapointed that you can never find out from customer service if they will have the Skylanders or not.

I picked up the last Spyro and Wrecking Ball at ebgames at markville mall. They also had 3 hot dog singles but sold out of them, unfortunately no ninjini. TRU had the legendary 3 packs and bouncer which I picked up 1 of each.

I also stopped by ebgames on major mac and castlemore and they had 1 spyro/1 wrecking ball/ 2 fright riders/2 lighting rods still available at 5:45pm, they expect to get ninjini next week!!!

After lashing out at Wal-Mart Canada customer service in regards to them not being able to provide info on MOLTEN HOT DOG, they responded: "The buyer confirmed that the Skylander Figurine will be available in 2 weeks."

Is this the only EB Games to have had Spyro and Wrecking Ball so far?

And also, any signs of Molten Hot Dog?

My seven year old has gotten to the end of the game and was hoping to play the bonus levels (17-20). He never collected the S1 so he doesn't have any of the Adventure Packs. Are these still 'out in the wild' in Canada or only on eBay/Amazon etc? It sucks that parts of the S2 Giants game requires S1 toys that don't appear to be sold anymore.


BTW, for anyone looking....as of this morning the Best Buy in Burlington(Brant) has "gazillions" of the Scorpion Striker packs.

A buddy and I went to Toys R Us, Walmart and EB Games in Mississauga. Toys R Us and Walmart didn't have any new characters. EBGames received 1 box of giants just before we arrived. The box had 2 Ninjinis, 2 Eye-Brawls, etc. We picked up the two Ninjinis. Haven't found any other characters yet.

(3) Ninjini's at EB games in Burlington (Appleby). Bought the last S2 Spyro, but wrecking ball was gone.

The TRU in Newmarket said they recieved 40 cases. They had a table of at least 20 Ninjini. They also had lots of wave 4 singles.

Trip - you're in my area (well, where I work)...any luck on Ninjini in Markham?

Looks like my drive back to Etobicoke will be stalking each place until I get Ninjini, Spyro and Wrecking Ball.

Just grabbed a Ninjini at EB Games @ Leslie & Major Mac. Not sure if they had any left. They held it for me and it was in the cupboard behind the cash.
