I just looked at mine and it does have some difference in colour in its bark but I must admit not as much as the standard one...

Thanks, Chaos. Can you take a pic of him lit up on the portal?

It would be foolish of Activision to make these characters as part of the Skylanders collection ingame, but not release them worldwide. I could see if they were just the regular variants that don't look different ingame (like GITD Fright Rider), but these actually show up ingame.

Same goes with anything they may try and keep exclusive to the US. It would be dumb, if the collection says you can get a possible 99.

Speaking of variants, 78. None of them are "mainstream" now. Even the Legendary ones are just:
Legendary
Bouncer
Ala Series Twos, they're now mere skins. Fun fact: they didn't even reskin the trailers for them.
I do get your point, just feel like I'd point it out though.

Okay but probably not tonight as I am watching tv through my XBox right now and surfing the interwebs.

For the record, even the GITD style variants are considered different in-game and categorised with the prefix of "Special". Hence, when you list all of the chars, it has a spot there (as do sidekicks, as well as the adventure pack items).
