Items shelved at Toys R Us this morning. I included prices for those interested. The iDevice dock/alarm clock was priced now as well ($59.99), but still no stock on hand. The character earbuds were still behind the electronics counter, and not in the system to sell. Why these other items are OK and those aren't, I don't know.

No. The ones from Best Buy are orange. I've seen them with my own eyes. That bag isn't the same.

Big W (www.bigw.com.au and search on Skylanders) now have iPod speakers.

I went to Toys R Us today and saw the earbuds, walkie talkies, draw string bag, and three of the available books.

back on topic though, I wonder what the quality of the walky talkies is.

All this new stuff is pretty...boring. Though it could be due to me being not into that sort of stuff....I think I'ma just stick with the game and figures.

Ditto.... I think the most intriguing item was the Wii controllers, but I don't need any of those... and I play Skylanders on my PS3 anyway... lol I bet if I was a lot younger I would love some of it tho... TRU has other items like full size backpacks and wheeled luggage and Target has bedsheets and fleece blankets too... I'll just stick to the game and figures, brilliant marketing as always Activision... kids demand, parents supply... lol

I agree, those controllers are pretty cool. They have Mini Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers too, but haven't seen them in the wild yet.
The rest of it though isn't something most adult Skylander fans would be into (Or so I'd imagine, I could be wrong though lol) At least not me anyway.
Those pillows are pretty awesome, I may have to snag myself one of those but all else can just go ignored on my end. I just want the game and figs outside that.

The wii remotes look quite nice.

Cool, I mentioned them recently but was too darn lazy to post images.

Tonight I saw SL books at one EB Games but not the three others I visited.

I also saw metal lunchbox looking things and backpacks now at Big W - have seen them online but not in the "flesh", per se.

I found this today at Toys R Us.



They also had Trigger Happy and Eruptor.

Ok, Skylanders isn't that much of a kids game.

If its not that much of a kids game then why all the kids merchandise? I'm not 5 I don't need plush dolls or lunchboxes or walkie talkies.

Hey GameMaster, what does the mini portal do with the plushie? How does it work?

You switch the plush to "play," and then you point the mini-portal at it and push the top of the portal, and it causes the Skylander to do its lights and sounds. In this case, Spyro's horns light up and he says "Born to Battle" "Don't fear the dragon" "it's showtime" "bring it on" and "all fired up."

Drill, you remind me of my friends who act too insecure to like kiddie things. They think because Skylanders is a kids game, it automatically sucks, whereas they would rather crawl up the butts of AAA titles - just to play it safe - because some slob behind a desk, who calls themself a professional game reviewer, makes their decisions for them since they can't on their own.

I got my room now decorated with the first plush I've ever owned. I will be 34 next month. I will never be insecure to like what I like. I only live once, and if it causes me not to land chicks anymore (speaking as a single man now), then I pity those chicks for being so closed minded.

Sadly, Chaos, I didn't. I have a photostatic memory. I remember days dating back to being in my crib. I generally remember every phone number I come across, and I can remember dreams way back from 1992.

I never did have any stuffed animals. The first toys I remember getting were LEGO's (not even Duplos). My first few toys was a Crasher from Go-Bots, Metroplex from Transformers, and then I got into Ninja Turtles and Nintendo.

I saw the sticker sheets yesterday. So they're out now.

I checked the TRU by my house last night... and no plushies yet... but do not fear I am determined to find that snuggly Spyro !!!! haha I have seen those styluses tho, they put those out at TRU a few weeks ago... thought about getting the Cynder one but will wait till Target or Walmart gets them cause they're a few bucks cheaper there! btw... in what section of the store were those plushies; by the gaming/ Skylanders stuff in electronics... or in a diff section by stuffed animals or something?? I know. I can say I'm jelly right now. I hope this means all Targets will definitely get him on day 1.

EDIT: You should have gotten his DPCI number, so we could all have an easier means of finding him on day 1.

That iPod doesn't have iOS 6. Shame.

The speakers look like someone sliced off Spyro from the toy..
