I bought the packs for 75p each. I'd imagine they're usually about a pound in normal shops, so that'd translate to roughly the price of the standard (ie not Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh or other specialist) trading cards in the US.

Well people are spending 80 pounds or more and not finishing a single set. So for what are essentially screenshots or art you can see anywhere else with the occasional biography, not really.
