Giants storage case with Wham Shell pack in at TRU [CLOSED]

A thousand apologies for creating a new topic if already known. My TRU had a Giants storage case that comes with a Wham Shell fig inside. Kind of weird they would use a figure that's not really made for the game?

I've seen the storage case, but I haven't heard anything about a packaged Wham-Shell.

Wham-Shell is just... Wow... No wonder so many people haven't found him, instead of just releasing him normally, Activision is just scalping them by putting them in bundles and Ice Wham. Shame.

You can see a price tag for $39.99, but I think that's for the tower next to it.

Saw a bunch of these at TRU today, they're exclusive. Didn't really pay attention to the price though, but judging from the back of the box, it's more like a small cheap, 2 section display case than a storage case. Not a bad way to get Wham-Shell for those still looking for him, just not as cheap as getting Wham-Shell by himself. I've only seen Wham-Shell in the wild twice.

I work at a TRU and I could have sworn those Wham-Shell cases are streetdated for the 21st, but I may be wrong.

I happened to be at TRU again today, so I snapped some pics for those of you who haven't seen them in the wild:

On the left is the front which you have already seen and on the right is a larger version of what you see in the corner, a pic of the display itself. As landbasered pointed out, the prototype is shown in the video he provided and the final product is complete with a rope like carry handle on the top.

The shelves were still missing the price, but it is $29.99 which isn't too bad a way to score a Wham-Shell if you're still missing him in my opinion.

I just got home from TRU and a friend working there showed me this. According to him, it's not supposed to be out yet. But that store could be holding back for the Giants release.
Personally, I'll keep looking for a $10 or less Wham Shell. It doesn't seem to be the sturdiest of cases.
