100% confirmed: This figure is exclusive to the 3DS Starter Pack and also is also a reskinned Pop Fizz in the game.

Crusher Variant 1
Details unknown.


Granite Crusher
This variant of Crusher is exclusive in some way to Target, confirmed only for America so far. He appears different ingame, but it is not known if he is a seperate character.


Gold Flameslinger
This variant is in some way an Amazon Online exclusive, and is confirmed to be available via a randomly appearing "Gold Box" when playing Skylanders: Cloud Patrol on the Kindle Fire.


Hot Dog Variant
Details unknown.



Glow in the dark Cynder
This Cynder is completely painted over with glow in the dark paint and comes exclusively as a GAME preorder in Wii, XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 Starter Packs(only been announced for the UK so far). Ingame details are completely unknown.


Whirlwind Variant
This version of Whirlwind has her own art on the Giants website and looks different ingame. Other details are unknown.



Tree Rex Variant
This figure appears different, but it's not known if he is a different character ingame. He is exclusive to a special pack that comes with a PlayStation 3 Slim and the PlayStation 3 Starter Pack.


Glow in the dark Portal of Power
A regular Portal of Power with glow in the dark sections of paint. Comes exclusively as a GAME preorder in Wii, XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 Starter Packs(only been announced for the UK so far).

The pictures of Ninjini and Crusher make me flashback to the scroll in the original game that talked about how the original skylanders had the power to master both light and dark.

You can't see the Cynder well now; a better choice wouid have been to crop her from the image to keep her larger but the overall image small...

maybe a light or a dark path would have different upgrade options? and "winter whirlwind" could even be evidence that it would apply to series 2 figures as well

Oh yeah, and if there are Light/Dark paths, I hope they are optional skins, just for the sake of choice. I really like some default looks, and I just wouldn't be able to get over all my characters suddenly getting reskinned.

No it's I think only for people in Europe. When you buy a new Slim PS3, you get that as a bonus. (It has nothing to do with the starter packs)

It's probably just her idle animation. When she's not attacking she probably moves the goggles to her head, and then when you attack, she flips them back down.

Well only Punch Fizz is definitely confirmed to be different ingame and as a figure. We're still waiting on confirmation as to whether the variants are ingame (different skins) or actual figure colour changes as well

The only thing I would change about her design... Give her some irises.
But yeah, it's probably this.
If you look at her ingame images you can also see she has brown goggles and leather arm straps on two of them but in the other image she has the gold wristband and blue goggles, but in the trailer she only has the gold variety, so maybe those are beta pictures?
And that animation is one of the "beta color" pics. So it might go totally unused.

TRU AU have Legendary Bouncer as an exclusive, I picked up the catalogue today, pre order the Game and get Legendary Bouncer for 10 Dollars (normally 20)

Lucky UKs. I want a glow in the dark portal.... *looks up price of paint* does anyone know when amazon will start taking orders for the gold flameslinger? I don't see it on there at all. Or is thay a UK thing too. ;(
