I have not heard of anything like this before, in that regard its really rare. However, in order to be rare in a monetary sense there has to be a demand or an intertest. Most collectors will simply label it as a factory defect. Depending on the exact nature of the factory defect most of these run from .85 to 1.1 of the value of the regular figure.

IMO I dont think it's worth alot of money. I'd say about 20-25 dollars is what it's worth as I don't see whats wrong with it.

I have a Slam Bam with an unusual base. It's totally normal except... The Water symbol is odd, as if it is a beta design.

You think you can show a picture of that? Sounds interesting...

To be honest, factory flaws like these are, in the grand scheme of things, very common. And unfortunately, they are rarely worth more than the RRP, unless there's a seriously hardcore error collector out there.

Well, there are exceptions smilie

But things like minor changes in the mould, paint in the wrong place or unpainted parts or even characters in the wrong boxes - These things are really common for mass produced items.
