This is mainly a trade show, but I wish I could go.

Book an appointment with The In Thing now and receive two free Skylanders figures.
The In Thing will be exclusively previewing Skylanders Giants at Autumn Fair next week.
Activision will be joining the company and the pair will be showing off the new video game toys in a demonstration room ahead of an upcoming October launch.
If you book an appointment to view the Giants range with The In Thing's sales team now you will receive two free Skylanders figures at the end of the presentation.
Retailers can pre-order Skylanders Giants at the show for guaranteed stock on 19th of October launch date.
Paul Jackson, MD at The In Thing, said: “Judging by the substantial initial interest, Skylanders Giants will without doubt be our company’s biggest ever product launch! The huge pre Christmas TV/marketing spend from Activision on Giants will ensure Giants dwarfs any product we have ever been involved with by a massive margin.”

It's against the rules to take pictures at the show. That and I really didn't want to pee off the company that will (hopefully) be supplying my future stock.

I can however confirm a few things, there is going to be a BUM LOAD of merch coming in the near future including *cough*plushes*cough*, nasty thing that cough. Couldn't get that last thing confirmed officially, Activision have yet to green light that project.

The range from various supplier stands confirms the following products: badges, Giants posters, pin badges, glitter stickers, large squishy gel stickers, large round stickers, small stationary set, child wallets, child rucksacks, rubber keychains, pens with mini figures on top.

The game demo was "that level with Brock", Chapter 3, I think. The Acti guy played it, I asked questions he could only answer with "Er?". Questions like Pow-Wow attacks on Series 2 and Sidekicks compatability. So not much I can really report on that.

I did get to check out Tree Rex and Series 2 Cynder figures. Both had stickers on the bases reading "E3" and something else, I can't remember. Tree Rex's blaster arm felt a little loose, might be down to all the testing, but it's a little concerning. Cynder is beautiful, up close you can see her scales are a little longer and spikier than on the Series 1 figure. Her paint job was great, no flaws that I could see, it's just wow!

For anyone interested the promo Skylanders were [series 1] Hex and Dino-Rang. There was nothing else. This was a show for trade and there was no physical buying at stands, only orders placed.

Promo=promotional. They are just the same as what's available now, no special packaging.

I Want It do have the cards available for pre order on their website.

http://www.iwantiwant.com/cgi-...895148148935539

This is the only place I've seen them for preorder though, which is weird considering they are out in less than three weeks.

EDIT: I don't know why the original idea for a Trading card game was scrapped. In about June time we had a poster that said over 200 cards and a trading card game was coming and now all it is is a 160 card collection that does nothing. Well done for killing the idea Activision. A TCG would get you miles more money than just collector's cards, no matter how simple the TCG was.
