Need Help ASAP [CLOSED]

I play skylanders on ps3, and my thing that you put in the usb slot, it doesnt work anymore, therefore i cant use my portal of power anymore. Do i need to contact activision or something? It says on the screen i need to plug in the thing when its already in, and the light in it doesnt even go red anymore... i know its broken for sure. portal still works though it turns on and everything but the other thing doesnt

support.activision.net You can contact them and you request an order, UPS sends you a shipping label, Send in the broken USB Port thingy, and they will send you a new one.
