Just recieved my book today in the post from Sainsburys Entertainment. The book is alright for the £3.60 I got it for but I'm not really sure its worth £6.

The book doesn't have any character bios but rather just has some small facts about each character.

I was suprised by the lack of any info on the new skylanders for giants as this book is in a set of 4 and the next one, fire and water, isn't out until January. If none of the books have any info on the giants characters I will be disappointed.

The main points of interest of the book:

- Location of every Magic and Tech elemental gate in the game.
- The origin of Dark Spyro
- Magic is weak to Tech and Tech is strong against Magic but weak against Earth.
- Nice little anecdotes for most of the Magic and Tech characters

And thats about it. I'm kinda busy for the rest of the day now so I probably won't reply to anything until tomorrow.

The books released this year are only focused on the characters of SSA, not from the upcoming game, Giants (that would be spoiling anyways if they did show new characters from Giants).

As the book is part of a series, with the later books coming next year, i did expect there to at least be a teaser for the new Giants characters. Add to tthat the fact that we don't know the magic giant or the normal tech I was expecting some sort of picture of the new characters.

If the next three book in the series contain Giants characters then this first one will look incomplete, and yet if they don't include the giants characters then we'll be waiting another year for a book on them.

Just my thoughts.

I agree with you. The way Activision is handling the releases is universally awful. They could have easily chucked in some faded silhouettes of the Magic Giant and Bouncer, they have to be designed by now because of the posters... But as for the book, I like all the books except for this one, because it sounds quite pointless

yeah, they only mentioned tree rex at the end of the stickerbook and had a sticker of tree rex's face and the skylanders logo, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't even mention his full bio.

I disagree I really enjoyed reading skylanders Magic and Tech book very informative and enjoyable I liked the pictures I have also got Skylanders The machine of Doom book which is good also Skylanders Official Guide got alot of information on all of the Skylanders very enjoyable tells you about the game I recommend these books I am a Skylander Fan I Love Skylanders

I like the magic and tech book, it had great pictures and great small facts about the characters, just that the facts weren't very big.

Can you scan it?

It's illegal to scan it you know... He can scan some things but not the whole thing

I already ordered few of the books, like the Annual and the Sticker Book, but at the UK release.
