After all that has happened, my so-called "best friend" and I have not had a proper conversation in weeks, despite me reaching out to him multiple times needing support (which he ignored, of course). He just messaged me, and I don't know what to do..

Welp... I jumped the gun on that. Oh well! I’m surprisingly okay with this.

It was nice while it lasted, and it was a learning experience for myself. Plus, I realized that I still have friends and that something like that can totally wait till I’m completely ready for it.

Hasn't it been the opposite problem lately? Western governments have been under attack by nationalist, conservative, and in some cases downright malicious political movements such as Brexit and the Trump presidency.

I apologize if it seems like I have a ego today. I never really am a egotistical person. Or at least I feel like I am not. Idk. Maybe I do have an ego and may be need to back off and chill for like 24 hours and give you some breathing space. Whilst I rethink my life (especially since I basically slept until 3pm).
