And more to the topic, I confirmed that one of my 4 checks for Sidekicks cleared today. Or was ordering 4 of those being too greedy?

Last time I checked, FSS was going for about $30-$35 each on evilBay. That's about half of the cost from a month ago.

Someone on CAG reported that they received 8 Sidekicks with a double being Trigger Snappy...

Dang, I thought since I lived in the state that the promo was officed (MN) I'd get them right away when they started shipping. It looks like that guy is from Indiana. But as always...pic or it didn't happen.

I'm sure he meant 3 T Snappy, 2 Terrabyte and Whisper Elf and 1 Gill Runt. Hopefully I'll get mine tomorrow.

I think it's random then, because i didn't mail mine off until 7/10

Oh man how will I know when my sidekick will come? (Lightbulb appears on top of my head.) Yeah I know I gotta believe!

I sent mine in June, hoping they came late this month or next month.

On Ebay there is a good amount of listings for the actual sidekicks themselves instead of the cards.

I got 3 sidekicks today missing my fourth.

Cubbi54, how big are the actual bases? Are they like the size of magic items?

So... got three of my four in today.

All Four were sent in at the same time. All Four were sent with tracking and all four were confirmed recieved.

All four checks were cashed.

Called to ask about the fourth... they show no record of ever receiving a 4th order for me.

Waiting for a call back.

and my whisper elf was smashed flat, almost like shes doing a matrix type leaning back thing.

Cleveland Ohio here, I got 3 of my 4 and I sent them all at the same time. I'll wait a few days before calling in if I don't get it.
I got Terrabite, Whisper Elf and Gil Runt. All the packages looked ok to me although Whisper does look like she's leaning back a bit.

Yeah they're pretty small, nowhere near normal Skylander base size.

Took some pics to double confirm.


The envelopes are like double padded so you don't have to worry about them getting damaged too much. Although, my Gil Runt pack was actually open at the top! Glad he didn't fall out or something.

Also tried them all out on the game. Each has a new icon which looks like a footprint or rather like a bone of a foot. After playing the animation, the colors for whatever element comes up. Noticed that when talking to Quiggly in the Ruins, the Sidekick went inside the model for Quiggs and both disappeared when the dialogue came up.

Noticed no attacking on Kaos' Lair level, even testing my theory that you had to use the corresponding Skylander to activate the attacks. I wonder if we can add these to Universe yet though?


Sorry for the awful quality of that pic, my camera has like a time delay and their name only appears for a fraction of a second.

you can register them on universe now. i already did.
i played with each sidekick/champion combo to see if they actually do anything besides run around you. and well. they dont. no attacking, no magic effect, nothing.... and i'll say it, i dont think they look THAT cute. so worse magic pieces ever.

Got 3 out of 4, but they ended up sending me 2 Terra Bites and 1 Whisper Elf..Shall have to see if my 4th is different, then hope I can get the one I don't have.

I didn't send mine off until early this month, and Im really just hoping they still have terrabites and gill runts. My fear is they felt trigger happy and stealth elf were the more popular full size skylanders and so they made a larger amount of the corresponding side kicks.

A friend in MN got 1 of 4 today.

Well, it looks like I should look out for sidekick envelopes.

anyone ever notice gill runt doesnt have ears?

i never get any of my packages from activision...

Got my last Flocked Stump Smash in the mail yesterday. Called them a month ago for the status of it and they stated my last win was cancelled. When I complained they stated they would reopen the order and send it to me. Glad they came through and actually sent it.

Also, called the Sidekicks number today and they verified all 4 of my figures shipped out on 8 Aug 12. The rep was even kind enough to tell me that I will be receiving one of each figure. Good to know I won't be getting any duplicates. I hope they arrive soon.

2 more weeks until the Gamestop convention in San Antonio and hands on with Giants!!

Well like Exosquad said, these are pretty useless outside of their cuteness. They aren't quite magic items either, as they have no time limit. They are also indestructible, as I let one get continually spiked.

YAY!!!! Mine shipped a week ago! Im getting Terrabite! I wanted Trigger Snappy though....
