What happened? Skylanders Cloud Patrol is totally gone in the ipad app store..

According to this article they had updated it to support Retina Display (dat apple buzzword) and to include the newest Skylanders. There was probably something wrong so they temporarily pulled it, or they're adding something else maybe.

I doubt you'll have to. When I saw it as an upgrade it initially showed as "$0.99" on the button and then switched to "UPDATE.". Unfortunately, when I try to update, I get a message that "The item you tried to buy is no longer available.". Hopefully they'll get their act together so we can update and add all of the last Skylanders.

Yeah, I really want mine updated since I have the newest ipad. smilie Plus being able to use newer/legendary characters.

I just tried to update again, and it told me I need to connect to wifi...versus the "item you are trying to purchase has been removed" message. Maybe try it again...as I don't have wifi...and can't download the update until I go somewhere that does.

If you haven't checked back in iTunes, the app was available for updating and worked just fine for me. I guess I didn't complain/have the right problem with the last version, because I didn't receive the bonus gems described in the update notes.
