Dragon's Peak (Best Buy) [CLOSED]

So I went to TRU today and picked up the legendary triple pack, then started my rounds looking for whamshell, I got to best buy and they had 10 dragon's peak!
So now I just need Whamshell and I'm complete!

Yeah, a local Best Buy here in Oklahoma City had Dragon's Peak. Looks like TRU's pathetic attempt at an exclusive, is over. smilie

I have a suspicion that TRU is pulling Camo and Warnado and soon Whamshell out of cases for their "June release" because Camo and Warnado come in the box with Dino-rang and they have tons of him the other skylanders that share the 97 case

I just called my local Best Buy, the upside, they have 16 of them in stock, the downside, they're $59.99
I told them to hold one for me, but I don't even know if it's worth getting it now or waiting for our ToysRUs to continue never getting shipments of them in. OTL I'm also really hopeing he was confused and gave me the Starter Pack price instead of the actual price of Dragon's Peak.

More than likely they are giving you the price for the starter pack. BestBuy loves to do that when you call about single characters , too.

I sure hope so, $60 is outrageous, and the fact they got in 16 and our TRU only got in 2 baffles me.
I may just call back and ask what exactly they put on hold for me. xD

Edit: Turns out it WAS $60 but it was because the person misheard me and was holding the Starter Pack for me. OTL

Oh yeah, I found this out yesterday when I went to Best Buy to check if they had Wham-Shell (they didn't)...and for some reason, I didn't have a second thought about it and it never occurred to me that it could be important to other people the news that TRU no longer has exclusivity on Dragon's Peak. I have such a one track mind sometimes.

Yay! Was ableto score one for my nephew whose bday is Monday!!!! Now if I could only find Camo, Whamshell and Warnado....
