Well, she can't be lying. She does have a Sunburn on that cake. It isn't made of icing, which I thought might be an option (some people are that good at making edible things for cakes).

If it was a reviewer for a site, I'm sure Activision wouldn't be too thrilled to see said reviewers using toys they sent to them in good faith, doing nothing more than decorating a birthday cake. If that's the case, they should send them to me, as I would do actual reviews on them (put them to better use).

Yeah, I know. I think that stupid lady was just trying to show off. She stated that she didnt know Sunburn wasn't out yet and said she would remove the pic. Two people, including myself, asked her where she got it, and she wouldn't reply. The lady wasn't trying to show off the cake. She was trying to show off she had Sunburn early. I dislike people who do stupid things like that.

Before she pulled the pic, I saved a copy to my HDD.

I would put it up for show, but I am trying to create my own Skylanders website at the moment.

There's only one possible way she got Sunburn, if she even owns him. She works for Activision and was ment to test Sunburn but ended up showing off, but clearly, if she isn't answering question, she lied.

She really does have it. Here is the pic she posted, and I snatched, before she took it down.



As you can see, she is decorating her son's birthday cake with it. As to why I know she doesn't work for Toys for Bob/Activision, is because she said so. However, she also said she doesn't work for Toys R Us. Had she worked for Activision/Toys for Bob, she would have already known the figure wasn't out, instead of saying, "I didn't realize Sunburn wasn't out."

EDIT: I think she really is an employee of TRU and doesn't want to get in trouble.

I live on the coast of California and L-Trigg barely came to my TRU last week and

I need peoples' help. This lady is on Facebook. I forgot her name, and my post on her pic is gone. I can't find a trace of it anywhere. How do I find out who she is? I need to find out if she is really an employee of TRU.

Nobody knows, they never give official dates. People just find them, then people start to know that there releasing them

Well, if I can find out this lady's name, I can call the TRU in the town she lives in. I saw what town she was posting from, but I forgot her name on Facebook. Once she deleted the message, there's no way to get back to it even by looking at my wall.

All I know is she lives a bit north of Los Angeles, but listed LA as her hometown.

She looked like an older lady. Late 30's, early 40's. She mentioned this cake is her 4-year olds cake.

You probably won't find it. Once someone deletes their post you posted on, you won't any trace of it.

You obviously don't understand the situation. I don't care if someone got it before, IF THEY DID IT LEGIT!

I have heard and seen so many stories, lame excuses, and whatnot from TRU employees.

Two TRU stores in my city has scalpers working there. Now one seems to have a blatant thief, who stole one. That's what a lady at corporate told me. She said that's the only thing this aparent employee could have done, because you can't buy what isn't checked in. Yet, this lady has it.

Just think. Let's say you live in that town. You went to that TRU and someone told you "we don't have it" or "we can't sell it." However, at the same time, an employee there steals or somehow buys it before it's checked in and put on shelves for customers to buy.

That's wrong on all accounts. Sorry, this has nothing to do with someone getting it first. It has to do with a shady employee getting their just desserts. I hope this sends a message to all TRU employees. QUIT ******* OVER CUSTOMERS FOR YOUR OWN AGENDAS!

Exactly. I'm not supposed to be mad that this is not only an exclusive to TRU, but it's exclusive to a store where employees are buying, stealing and scalping these before they even reach the floor.

Sorry, I don't roll like that. I deserve to own Dragon's Peak, like everyone else here. Walmart, Target and Best Buy suck at getting adventure packs in, so TRU is our best bet. However, how can we buy them when their are shady employees in any given TRU?

My local Best Buy throws them away. When I took one back, due to a faulty portal, they kicked the package to the back. It seems unprofessional, but they know that I know it's just going in their garbage bin out back, at the end of the day, just like their Skylanders instore display would go in the trash if no one was claiming it.

I'm not going to allow them to throw away something unique, that was worked hard on by Toys for Bob, like it was a piece of trash. 5 of those VV's can go to those who really need it, instead of the dumpster. As I said on Facebook. "Think before you speak."

Maybe if you somehow hack in somewhere to pull up every child's birthday (that lands on the day the photo was uploaded) in LA, then do a search for all the common last names that work at TRU's, you should have em! hahahaaa... so that being said.... I have no clue.

If it's known to be happening in two states, why won't it happen in others? Before a friend of mine told me it was happening in the store I frequent (which actually shocked me), I knew it was happening in at least 1 other TRU here. So if two of the three are doing, when it started at 1, is that by coincidence, or do employees start to get ideas? All anyone has to do in life, is look at trends. Trends for Skylanders, is that it can make people a pretty penny. Why wouldn't a TRU employee say, "oh, woe is me. I only make minimum wage, so I need an extra buck or two to pay bills?"

I am upset, because this is happening to begin with. We are supposed to be able to trust these stores to stock these for customers. TRU's are only making it harder on the customer, adding to the current woes of scalpers who already snatch and run.

You mean like how the both of you are spouting idiotic mess that she is a thief working at Toys'R'Us? Lol, you honestly think a thief would be THAT stupid?

Personally, I think what you said sounds more idiotic. Steal? Do you know how many security measures there'll be on these things during transit? There wouldn't be much of a chance of theft unless she stole it from the shop floor, which I think staff would notice.
