I just finished Yuri on Ice and despite the excessive amount gay affection I still enjoyed the show

The show did an amazing job with its characters, I think, although some definitely outdid others

Ma boi JJ ended up having the most touching moment in the entire show centered around him so that was definitely a pleasant surprise and actually had me tear up a bit (tears are yet to be shed tho) which is like the fourth time that's ever happened to me while watching an anime

Looking over a list of seasons, season 4, 5, 9, 13, & 15 should be disregarded. There may be a few episodes in-between that are filler too, but overall you can skip those 5 seasons.

I haven't watched that many animes so the lists not too long.

Attack on Titan

Tokyo Ghoul

Another

Berserk (a little bit of the 2016 version and a little of the 90s version)

Blood-C

Corpse Party (both anime and the remake made in 2011 of the game made in the 90s)

And i'm currently watching Elfen Lied and trying to decide if its awful or not because I really cannot decide.

Today when the class had to show off their Jean Claude Van Damme green screen videos, one of the students used Attack on Titan, including the infamous song ruined by the Internet by taking something large in scale and playing it to the most stupid videos.

Fortunately I watched Ghost in the Shell and Ghost in the Shell: Innocence later that day because I wanted to only had my consoles as DVD players and Lent was around the corner (I'm giving up sweets and games for Lent again) and I needed to remind myself of what happened in those films before the new one comes out this March.

After watching them, not only did I feel nostalgic, I remember why I like anime in the first place. Visually stunning animation mixed with thought-provoking narratives. Not just Ghost in the Shell but Fullmetal Alchemist, Wolf's Rain and many more. The kind of anime you rarely see these days though I'm interested in the Blame! anime coming to Netflix.

This is the first trailer for the live-action American film adaptation of Death Note, coming to Netflix later this year.



While I'm unsure whether or not the actors will do the characters justice (acting-wise, not appearance) but I'm absolutely confident in Willem Dafoe as Ryuk.

I've been watching Yona of the Dawn (Akatsuki no Yona for sub watchers) lately, and it's a really good show. I highly recommend it if you're into the fantasy adventure genre. It has a lot of charm and heart, and the action is badass too.

Also, it has a lot of Fire Emblem similarities so if you like Fire Emblem then you'll probably like it.

Season 2 of Konosuba was hilarious and so is Maid Dragon, do recommend.

ATTACK ON TITAN SEASON 2 IS HYPE AS AF

Boku no Hero season 2 premier was great too but

THAT ATTACK ON TITAN PREMIER THOUGH

Plus the opening is ****ing amazing. I love the symbolism in it that I don't get because it'll probably make sense with later revelations but I can still pick it up as amazing symbolism

Can't say the same about Boku no Hero opening, but it was a nice episode I suppose.

The new Boku no Hero opening has grown on me a lot. I've found myself listening to it quite a bit. Really my main issue with is how the last line in it goes, but I've found it to be pretty good recently.

I loved it. I'd recommened watching it, either censored or uncensored, nothing really changes. It gets VERY confusinf at the end though, so I tell everyone that once you finish the show, you MUST watch the OVA, Radial, to fully understand what happened and get a sense of closeur.

I really like the new Boku no Hero opening! Still doesn't live up to the first one but it's much better than Peace Sign. Wish the song was a little more hype but it's still a good song, and the visuals are good. Based on the opening it seems to me we're gonna be getting some more focus on Yaoyorozu in this second half of the season, like how we had a heavy focus on Todoroki in the first half. Prolly to a lesser extent though, since we've got a lot going on already in this second half.

Also I love Gran Torino. He's great already.

I'm also shocked that Gran Torino isn't the seventh holder of One For All. I figured since he was All Might's teacher he was the previous holder, but it looks like the seventh is actually dead. It seems like there's some big deal behind that so I can't wait to find out more about the Seventh.

I couldn't get to sleep so I decided to start Hunter x Hunter because I've heard it's a thing that people enjoy. First episode didn't really draw me in too much but I'll give it a few to see where it goes.

New BnHA episode spoilers

So Stain is dead now, right? Since the rib pierced his lung? Right? I wonder what's gonna happen in the final 8 episodes of this season. I figured Stain would be the focused villain for the whole thing but I guess not, unless he somehow lives with a punctured lung. There's gotta be something crazy that goes down at the end of the season or it'll feel kinda lacking. Maybe we'll get a new villain or something, idk. To be fair Tomura Shigaraki, Kurogiri, and Nomu all were introduced with only a couple final episodes left of season 1 so it's not far-fetched for us to get a new villain for this final stretch.

Also I know Endeavor is an absolute asshole but his combat was really ****ing hype.

Oh and also surprise surprise Stain actually does have a nose. Lmao he looks so dumb without those bandages wrapped around his face

So... this is a thing. 8/



The anime itself looks okay and having more African anime characters is both cool and sexy but the cast ensemble is bizarre. Jaden Smith, Susan Sarandon, Stephen Fry, Jude Law and Steve Buscemi. Probably the most insane use of actors since In Uwe Boll's The Name Of The King: A Dunegon Siege Tale IMO and I don't mean it as an insult. It's just really that bizarre.

Did I forget to mention Jaden Smith?
