Currently watching Assassination Classroom.
I'm watching the sub and not the dub, but I watched the part where the class throw things at *****-sensei and bless Monica Rial

i like to watch pokemon every saturday and i've been watching digimon fusion and yu-gi-oh. i have fond memories of what i watched of megaman starforce. one of these days i'd like to finish it, and watch the megaman battle network stuff afterwards.

i also watched the entirety of zoids and feel so lost now that it's all over. anyone else a fan? anyone?

so, uh, is gundam worth watching? and, if so, since there seem to be a lot of them, which ones are definitely worth a look? i looked at the list of 'em and felt very overwhelmed.

Ho Boy Isis you're in for a ride

Several series are in different universes from each other so you don't need to watch every single series. Some are best to not watch at all.

I think it's best to start off with the Mobile Suit Gundam.
In chronological order: MS IGLOO, original Mobile Suit Gundam, The 08th MS Team, 0080: War in the Pocket, 0083: Stardust Memory, Zeta Gundam, Gundam ZZ, Char's Counterattack, Gundam Unicorn, Gundam F91, Crossbone Gundam, and Victory Gundam

Keep in mind most of these are pretty old and don't have the best animation.
Also, some of the listed above are just side stories and can be skippped if you'd like.
Some are also like 50 episodes best of luck

All of the other series are set in Alternative Universes. They're hit or miss with most fans.

Gundam SEED is a huge hit or miss. They try to redo the original MGS and then start to change things into it's own story. Some like it, many don't.

Gundam Wing is kind of boring and iirc focuses more on the politics side?

G-Gundam is mostly just fighting stuff. It can be a fun watch, but the story is eh. Some fun fights though.

Ive never touched Gundam X so I'm not sure if that one's any good s:

It's called SD Gundam! I know MS SD Gundam is a comedy/parody, not sure about the rest of the SD series.
I would assume so given they're all chibi and chibi isn't supposed to be serious.

Back in Belgium when I was little, a friend of mine had a show that had like, tiny robots and the one episode I saw was something like bees petrifying a factory or something. I've always wondered what the hell that show was, and now I know :D Though I don't like mecha anime so...

Anyway, finished Assassination Classroom and holy **** It's great. I give it an 8/10 ^.^ Can't wait for the second season

Mirai Hen is FINALLY out and I'm flipping out. Holy ****. There's so many tears. Here it is but it's raw. There's no translation yet ofc. :'(

ALSO chapter 74 of Attack on Titan is out and

Yeah someone's definitely dying in chapter 75. The last human/titan fight I can remember is chapter 50 where Hannes died.

Yeah an anime for the game was announced recently.

My disappointment comes from the fact that they're going with the type of plot I really didn't want to see.

From TVTropes:

"The anime takes place on Earth sometime in the near future, and stars a normal high school boy, Itsuki Tachibana, and his fellow classmates Rina Izumi and Aika Suzuki. When Itsuki isn't dealing with the real world, he's playing a popular online RPG, Phantasy Star Online 2, where a new story unfolds with him at its core..."

I was hoping for an actual adaptation of the game's story, or something. What I didn't want was high school students play game.. oh noes, more to game than meets the eye.

I know it's not exact, but something about it feels more like Sword Art Online than, well, Phantasy Star Online 2. However I could be totally wrong in my comparison since I never watched Sword Art Online after reading its page on TVTropes and deciding 'No, this isn't for me'.


Buuuuut it won't be released until 2016 I think. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I hope.

Tbh though if you ignore the Phantasy Star part of the title it looks like it'll be a fun watch and maybe a decent anime

yeah from what i've read of sword art online it really isn't for me which is a shame because i do like the concept of it

yeah. ignoring the phantasy star part, it looks fun and im really hoping they manage to do justice to the game because i love this game okay and if they fail it no one will protect them from me.

*clears throat*

i'll withhold further judgement on it until i actually see an episode.

as for gundam.. something about it seems familiar somehow? i'm watching the english dub of the original and i swear i've seen it before when i was really little. or something like it, anyway.

enjoying it so far, though.

I'm a big Gundam fan myself but I tend to take long breaks from it. Last one I watched was Stardust Memory.

Also I started Assassination Classroom the other day, just to sample it. Seems like it could be fun.

Assassination Classroom is great. The jokes can get a bit stale at times, but it still is a lot of fun to watch. It also suffers from too many characters. You'll find something out about a character, and then never see them again or hear them talk other then see their face in the class.

Watched all of Assassination Classroom today barring the one episode I hadn't watched. I was really tired and didn't really want to move today, so...

But yeah it's definitely a fun romp, though I kinda didn't like the climax of the first season (yes I know it's not over).

The fact that the students weren't actually poisoned made the whole finale a waste of time.

Like I know they explained it and all that, but it's still no better than an "IT WAS ALL A DREAM" ending.

And overall it made the serious tone of that whole segment feel a bit devalued. I know it's primarily a comedy anime but I still think it should be taken seriously when you decide to make it seem so serious for so many episodes in the first place.

So they finally uploaded the Dub trailer for Danganronpa on youtube
Again, I dislike it greatly. Not only did they NOT carry on VA from the game except for Naegi who has the worst voice actor, but Monokuma's voice is even worse than the game one. Seriously, either carry on all VA from the game to the anime, or don't bring any of them to the anime. Now it's just a whole **** ton of confusion. Plus, I see that they are keeping the good old fashion Danganronpa chain of filling trailers with spoilers >.> Literally, if I had never played the game or watch the anime, this trailer tells me who dies and who's executed. Disappointing.

Can I get Crunchyroll in Ireland? When I my 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime and tried to watch Alladin and Vikings, the only thing that came up was that it wasn't available in my region. I don't know if it's just because I live the countryside of Donegal but it wouldn't work in I was in a big hotel in Galway.

I've heard that Skip Beat is a really good one. Haven't watched it though.
