One of them should most likely be an Arkeyan of some type. They are one of the most ancient Skylands races and since they guard the magic source it would make sense if they were a magic giant.

Maybe the magic giant will be the weapons master when he was younger. He could have some really cool powers! He could have tons of swords like Koloktos from zelda: skyward sword smilie
