I had a huge conversation with one of the guys running it because he said they had a few Wham-Shells delivered to them for the con. Also Dark Spyro single packs, wave 5 triples, blue Bash....

Only problem is you have to pay for entry into the convention to even get them, and they're no doubt reseller prices.
Didn't buy anything from them (At least, Skylanders wise...) so I don't know their prices.

Also, the Dragon's Peak I ordered from Tesco arrived while i was out.....
Ahahahaha I told them to cancel that via email, and I was told it was cancelled.
Can't decide whether I should return it (Can't tomorrow since the post offices are closed) or tell my parents to put it up on eBay (I think people would prefer to buy something from a seller with 100+ rating rather than my measely 8)

Check first to see if Tesco actually took payment from you. If you do return it, insist that they pay the shipping.

Tesco have stated on their website they do NOT pay the shipping costs for returns. I can demand it, but its their explicitly stated policy so I doubt I have much of an argument there.
I'll probably go to return it tomorrow, since its less hassle in the long run.

If it were a single or a triple, I honestly wouldn't care too much about returning it. But theres very little I can do with the extra adventure pack items @_@

Thing is... That's if YOU decide to return something. They told you explicitly that they had cancelled the order and it still showed up, so that's not your responsibility to pay for their error.

As I said though, check first that they took payment. If they didn't, well... Their error is your gain. ;-)

So my skylanders news...

Thanks to a heads up, I bought Dragons Peak from my local GAME :3 YAY! <3 love it

Last week I bought an ipad!

loving cloud patrol! Not that far into it yet but there is no rush

I was at MCM Expo and I was tempted to buy from the skylanders seller but I would have had to carry it around London all day on the Sunday because my boyfriend and I already had jam packed and heavy bags

so I decided to pass.

Nice to see everyone getting thier Wham-Shells. I'm thinking I might as well go for all 37 now.....maybe...

I hope to pick up the Ignitor triple soon, I want Camo and Warnado and my husband has pinched my Ignitor (I don't mind though, at least he's showing an interest in Skylanders now).

I hope I can pick up one fairly soon but since I don't want anything else and I don't fancy the 4.95 postage I'll wait and try to pick one up in a shop. I'm glad to know it is actually around now though.

Some of the TRU still have stocks of the ledgendaies and blue bash. My sister got them for me. Just depends on which store.

keep on trying. Never take their word there's no stock. They are sometimes too lazy to check.

I would complain if the click and collect reserved it for you and they have no stock.

Hopped onto the Play website and they still have a few of the older ones for cheap. As in.... £4.94 Bash. £4.99 Drill Sergent + Chop Chop. £5.98 DT, WB.
Also a bunch of the older ones on Game and shopto
Theres some £5.99 ones on Amazon too. Can see Chop Chop and Wrecking Ball. They're also getting Voodood singles on July 5th. Seems like a long time to advertise it, but I know someone out here is looking for a Voodood single

Looks like Tesco Entertainment is ready to take orders on Dark Spyro and for only £6.97, take that TRU with you charging more for your exclusive Blue Bash. It says 1-2 weeks dispatch which means, by tesco's standards, that you may see within June sometime. But hey its exclusive so if you don't mind waiting that order it now.

Yeah, wouldn't be surprised if the current console starters end up in singles/ a 3 pack for giants. Considering the starter/ return pack for giants is only going to have one returning character i believe? If they don't release them, the 3 original starters are going to be some of the most expensive skylanders.
ESPECIALLY since they've released Dark Spyro as a single.
I was considering buying a scalped one on ebay but.... I'll take the £8 packaged one over a £15 loose figure. Or a £40 starter pack I can't even play.

Hi guys, i have a spare carded dark Spyro from smyths that I'd like to ideally part exchange towards a dragons peak , cost me a tenner, so DS plus a tenner for a Dragons Peak sound reasonable? Are swaps allowed on the forum, if not have you any suggestions other than fleabay? I work in London in the Liverpool street area or near Colchester to keep postage out of it. It's actually my 9 year old son who is obsessed with the game but I love hunting down the figures with him. He has brainwashed our daughter who is 3 in August - she can name them all

You could always try Tesco that's where i got dragons peak from have also seen it in Toys R Us search online as some stores don't even charge for delivery. If you want to sell Dark Spyro head to ebay i'm sure you'll make your money back

Hopefully there is stock of any skylanders you need, near you.

EDIT: You can use the code to preorder the Skylanders Adventure Kit (ie the best bag ever) for £20.95 making it the cheapest I've seen it. In addition does anyone know why Toys R Us has it coming out on the 22nd of June and everywhere else has the 6th of July? Surely its not exclusive for only two weeks?

Tescoentertainment too (dispatch next day, so hopefully they don't do what they did to me....)

If you ebay the dark spyro, you could get some money towards it. Though it might be difficult, considering tesco are going to get him very soon.

I found my DP in Game, though a little more expensive than most places (I also had a £5 loyalty discount, so it ended up cheaper)
Speaking of them, hopped onto their website to see if they had it in stock there (they dont). .... All their singles have been bumped up to £8.99. Thought my store selling them for that much wasn't a fluke.

Guess I've finally been impatient, I paid £10 for mine from Ireland because I thought we weren't getting it here in England... Oh well it's not like I went crazy and paid a stupid amount. Besides, my local Tesco doesn't stock Skylanders (it's too small) and I've never seen any in my second closest... that's not to say it never has any, it just hasn't any time I've been there.

I don't think Dark Spyro has lost its exclusivity anywhere yet?
I don't think its supposed to be easy to get hold of.

And yeah, I was surprised to see it being released here, let alone in Tesco. Why do Smyths have it in Ireland and NI, yet Britain, Scotland and Wales have Tesco?? Seems strange to me.

Also the "just about everything" in stock at Tesco includes Wham Shell.
