Well, got L-Trigg today. With that, I have updated the first post to reflect changes.

I also tidied up a bit. I removed some pics, while only adding a couple of new pics. Honestly, I feel it's too soon. I am hoping the next update, will be the last.

Well, I spent all of yesterday building a shelf that will better catergorize my Skylanders. I designed it myself. Today, I am taking down my entire Skylanders collection to make room for this new shelf, wave 4 and 5, any new variants and such.

I have decided to devote my entire wall to Skylanders, while shuffling what's currently on that wall to other parts of my room. My old display shelf for my Skylanders will be used for something else, which means I don't have a use for my tower case anymore. I would like to find a use for it, so any suggestions would be welcome.

I will post updated pics later. It should be cool.

I assume you have room designated for Giants, as well? I am actually interested to see what you came up with.

You know, I'm not sure what to do with Giants. I can devote an entire wall to Skylanders. However, if they keep coming out, I will run out of room eventually. Now that you asked, and I thought about it, I may have room for 16 more Skylanders, plus any new triple packs that come out, cards and such.

I was thinking of taking seperate Giants pics when they come out, while not hanging them on my wall. However, now that I decided I need an entire wall for Skylanders, I wll probably have room for 16 more, plus extras.

I will show you the shelf later on. I need to get 2 more boards, which will act as the back of the shelf, paint them and let it dry, before decking out the shelf with characters and decor.

Then I have to re-arrange everything, to form around it and my ginormous lamp that I think will end up intruding on the wall. I will also be leaving some open spots for wave 4 and 5 single, adventure and triple packs, that way I don't have to re-arrange anything again, until Giants streets.

If you (Himewad) or anyone has any ideas for my tower case, after you see these new pics, let me know.

Looks to me like a bet was made, and that you would have wanted to be paid had the legendary 3-pack not been re-released. The bet is also referenced in post #67 by Monsinour himself.

Doesn't look like this is the thread where the bet was actually made, but let's just end this.

To clarify, GM78 has multiple times now also acknowledged said debt:

"I swore you would get your money. I am a man of my word. And before you think it, no I am not going to wait months, either."

I have small children and I proactively ensure that I meet my promises before they get annoying and nag me constantly about it.

Nah, I wanted the clarification. I warned him once to leave me be, until I had time to pay. He didn't listen, but I am giving him one more chance to just chill until I get life and Skylanders out of the way. I guess we will see where it goes.

Okay, so update on my shelf. Got the final two pieces on. I am taking everything down, currently, which means I have to put some of my game figures in a drawer, in my garage. Then my fiancee is going to help me put up the shelf, pending I can get this stupid drill bit out of my power drill. It's stuck and I need to put in this longer drill bit.

After that, it's a matter of drawing up where everything will go and I will take pics and update my final post. I won't update my collection post on the front page, until I get wave 4.

Stupid power drill. Okay, so I have a Black and Decker DR250 power drill. I don't think I ever removed the drill bit before. However, nothing I do will remove it. Anyone know how to remove the drill bits? It has three teeth inside holding the bit in. I can't move the teeth to remove my current bit, so I can put a long drill in, to start drilling holes.

My husband says it's a 'keyless chuck' and you just need to twist the front part of the chuck to release the bit but if you've had it a long time it could be gummed up. His advice is put it in reverse while holding the front part of the chuck in a towel if you can't get it to release.

So, keyless chuck, right?

Get two Stilsons wrenches (or whatever you call them in the land where they pretend to speak English, monkey grips?) and put on at the base of the chuck and the other on the part you normally tighten/loosen by hand and turn them in opposite directions.

Intermediate solution is to buy a decent drill (hold off on SL purchases for a week, or so, if you have to).

If it can't be loosened by hand, then gentle use of a wrench is often the only recourse. Remember that the core of the keyless chuck should still be metallic, so it should not get warped doing this. Of course, if your drill is so crabby that the chuck is all plastic, then just chuck that cheap thing away (pun only partially intended)!

Fair enough, I wouldn't know. Power tools are not my thing. That's just what my husband said... I figured he knows because he uses a drill every day but then his is a fairly fancy DeWalt (sp?) so I guess he's not too in with the current lower end stuff.
