Seriously! The 3DS version pretty much plays like an old school Crash game, it's just begging to have him as a character. Last I heard Activision was planning on scrapping Crash for good. This might be the perfect way to reintroduce him the same way they are using it to reintroduce Spyro to the newer generation.

I'd be all for a cross genre collectors game.

I did not enjoy the Crash platformer type games so much, LOVED Crash racing though! But Mario Kart has filled that void becuase of online Races.

I can't remember what Crash even did though its been that long, what hypothetical skills would he have for Skylanders 2?

Activisions not getting rid of Crash. They renewed his character copyrights and if they don't do anything related to Crash Bandicoot or any character from the Crash series they'll lose the copyright.

But i agree with this. Maybe Crash could be in a skylanders game, or maybe have his own version of skylanders. Warplanders anyone?

Personally, I'd rather he be a extra character instead of the title character.

A sequel to Skylanders? Activision might as well make a video of Bobby Kotick ****ting on the PS1 Spyro games. The series needs to back to where it was before Enter the Dragonfly destroyed Spyro's identity, even a ANOTHER reboot could save the series. Someone needs to rip the rights of Spyro (and Crash) straight from Activisionlessness!

I rather see Spyro as a Playstation mascot once again.

It's possible. I actually would like to see a game with Kaos and Cortex teaming up together - They're both PERFECT as allies

Yeah right. Kids will only know Spyro in Skylanders and will not like seeing Spyro away from his fellow Skylanders. The Skylanders franchise will be milked for the next half-a-dozen years with yearly sequels and then afterwords there will be a large gap between the final decaying Skylanders and a whole Skylanders so Spyro is pretty much ****ed in the ass... and yes, Bobby Kotick is THAT bad and always will be! Just accept Activision is bad company and their games are merely okay but not revolutionary unlike everyone else.

Anyways, to gently nudge the conversation back on topic, I think Crash is highly suitable for Skylanders, given he can't talk, and his basic game layout (at least for Twinsanity and up) is similar to SSA. If Crash was in Skylanders, I'd assume he'd be either Earth or Tech.

I'm that everyone is trying to forget the existence of the original Spyro games as if they didn't exist in the same sense as the original Star Wars movies.

Also, I highly doubt that Spyro would ever be forgotten by the people that were raised on them. And if it's ever forgotten, then let it be. It could be a hidden gem for the next generation, which would make it all the better than having it be a legacy all these years.

To the people who still are angry about skylanders, just let it go.... Spyro will only get his own game unless skylanders is a hit. Which I still dont understand why they went in this direction in the reboot, but its whatever just play other games till activision makes a spyro game like were used to in the past. I still cant believe spyro's the only games you guys own/play. I hate the way they went with spyro now but its whatever, I just wont buy it and rather just spend my money on other games and stuff.

I play other games than Spyro.

Tomb Raider, Grand Theft Auto, Gun, Canis Canem Edit, The Saboteur, Red Dead etc

Then just play those and look forward to sequels to those games you know. unfortunately spyro skylanders looks like wont change for another game sequel possibly. :/

I do play them, when I get the time to. I don't play video games often, I may have a random couple of weeks of playing games, then take a month of break and doing something else.
