Why do you think I'm getting the game off of Amazon? I have no guts.

Though you can just say it's for your little brother.

Don't they have stands that they put them on? You don't have to ask ANYONE that way, :3. Trust me, it's more embarassing having your mum coming with you and bragging to the attendant people about how I've been playing Spyro all my life. I swear, my mum is more obsessed with Skylanders than I am,

I'm a teenager myself, and plan on walking into the GameStop, getting the game, then walking to Target to get some of the toys...

Like a boss.

There is nothing wrong with a teen getting a game like this.

Of course, at the same time, you would be constantly flooded with hormones you probably succumb to easily which I forget the names of, causing you to go into a short burst of euphoria before a manic, suicidal depression.

Unless you are younger then 13. Then you are fine.

Not that part. That's the euphoria part. Once you use up your reserves of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, THEN you go into the suicidal depression. Course, you could combat that with large dosages of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, the appropriate sex hormone for your gender, and/or some ATP.

Let me tell you why you shouldn't be.

True story, when I bought DotD at Gamestop, I was buying it for my Xbox, as I had earlier bought if for my PS2, and I couldn't find it. I was eh....16 then, I asked the guys working the register if they had it. This is how it went. Note, the guys working the register were roughly 23-27 years of age.

Me: *nervous* Ummm, do you carry The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon?
Guy 1: I don't remember that one, let me check on the computer.
Guy 2: That's the game where Spyro and Cynder finally defeat Malefor, remember?
Guy 1: Cynder? Wasn't Cynder the bad guy in A New Beginning?
Guy 2: Yeah, didn't you play The Eternal Night?
Guy 1: Nah, I kinda felt embarrassed buying Spyro games in my twenties.
Guy 2: ****ing cool game, Hunter's in it, from the second game.
Guy 1: Was he the tiger guy?
Guy 2: Cheetah, he was a cheetah.
Guy 1: *checks computer* Yeah, we got it.
Guy 2: *looks at computer* I'll show you where it is.

I smiled widely after the second guy's first comment.

When I walk into Toys R Us, I'm flooded with memories of me being a whiny little kid that would beg his father for a Bionicle, causing him much stress until he finally caved in and got it for me.

I hate myself for those days.....

I'm 19, and this stuff is not-a-problemo, after all I happily bought Kirby's Epic Yarn so there's no reason not to get Skylanders stuff.

I'm 13, but I'll still be a little embarrassed.
Although really, adults/teenagers can like childish things as well.

People seriously feel embarassed about buying toys post-childhood? I'm almost 20 now and I have no qualms about that... in fact, if I were to buy toys like Skylanders, I would almost WANT people to see me buying them, smilie. There's something nerdishly, innocently cool and charming about grown-ups who openly admit their childish sides. smilie
