I made this today. My internet was down because of a storm nearby so I decided to practice ponies...

Her name is Tefa (tee-fah). I made her cutie-mark out of pure imaginaaatioon.. it's supposed to be some kinda eye.. she's an artist. With both pencil and tunes.
She has brown glasses, purple stripy socks, and a silver necklace that has a yellow/red pendant on it.
I wuv her. smilie

I just sketched this up on my iPad because... I don't know why... I wanna make a dungeon crawler RPG, and this would actually be a customizable set for it... Need to come back and fix this maybe though... Something about the design seems off.

Or just upload it to mageshack, if it is already on the computer.

I normally don't post stuff outside my thread, but I need some constructive criticism. I tried drawing this for a friend but I don't like how the proportions came out and I need some tips on how to improve... Especially the arms. Help?

Honestly arms for me are difficult! /: I can try to give you advice though, which is to know arms aren't just straight lines- I make the mistake of making them really straight a lot and it looks really awkward. I'm no anatomy expert, but simply looking at references really helps. Even with cartoons the arms have shape to them.
But like I said I'm not expert, it's just that references are really useful and after looking at them and practicing, you'll get the hang of it!

Same goes with hands, and basically everything. I'll always struggle with hands, but without references and tutorials, I'd just be drawingsballs with sticks.
