Wait, addendum to what I said above because I just remembered the proper terminology: a demo is very different from a beta. The website shots we're seeing here are very obvious betas, which means there is still a lot of work to be done for them to be ready. While many companies like releasing game demos, almost nobody releases a website beta (mostly because they're broken and don't reflect the final product).

Well, the beta images of the Skylanders website was accidentally leaked, and Activision is trying to hide it back.

The website we have now isn't the final version. It's very clearly a placeholder and more of it will open up as the game's release comes closer. They did the same thing with the LoS sites a few years back. With Skylanders also having an on-line version, you can't not expect more from the site later.

You know, seeing that makes me want to see other peoples' work in the industry more; even if you're curious about it. I wonder if people like this are supposed to hide their works in secret... either for their own accomplishment of having it up in the internet, their own amusement for us fans to find those treasures, or really hide their works for the sake of safekeeping. Who knows! :P

Anyway, I wonder how will the final version will materialize as we near towards the release date of "Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure".

Speaking of that, I want to see Halo 4 leaked like Scar leaked Halo 3.

Maybe they'll make the GFX better. They've been using up little time on that one.
