I. The fight ends

• a. both Zarath and Maxi get tooken to the infiramry.
  
• b. Maxi dies for a short while.
  

II.Zarath has to tell Kara what happened.

• a. She gets really ticked and goes off on Zarath,telling him he was supposed to protect maxi.
  
• b. back in the infirmary,the heart moniter on maxi finds a faint heartbeat

Ch. 7

The arena was covered in a dense,eerie fog. Seth and Eron,I couldn't find them or Zarath. There was a feeling at the back of my mind saying something bad was,and is, going to happen. There was a voice inside of my head,shouting to finish this fight alive. Oh GGGGGRRRREAAAAT! I've lost my ****ing mind!! Sarcasm was a specialty of mine, and not being a killjoy,I HATE THIS BULL! HATE HATE HATE IT!!!!! All of a sudden, there was an extreme sharp pain in my right side. "TCHK!" with a sharp cry of pain, I fell to my knee. Seth stood above me with booming laughter,"You stupid,stupid boy! You actually thought you could beat me?!"

"Y-Y-Yes.....I do and WILL!" I managed to snarl before another wave of pain shot through my side. Where the **** is zarath!!!!? I screeched in my mind. The arena's lights shot back on,unexpectedly, blinding the both of us. I blinked several times,sending a high pitched,high frequency sound waves at Seth. NOT a smart decison. I fell over in pain,watching seth being slammed out of the arena. I heard his body hit the floor with a sickening crunch. That had to hurt big time......ouch. I thought,grimmacing in pain. The annoucers called the fight,and they had several of the infirmary people in to get me. Once they got me on the stretcher, I blacked out.....

In the ICU, I started to wake up. Groaning, I tried to sit up, but there was somebody pushing me down,"Maxi, Rest." It was zarath's voice,"Good job.... You didn't even use your claws!" Zarath smiled at me. I shot him a glare,"Shut it, please......" I said quietly.


The beeps of electrocardiogram got fainter. Zarath shot a glance at it,"No.....Maxi.....don't......" He stopped in the middle of his sentence,watching the cardiogram go from several slow heartbeats to a flat line. Zarath looked down at Maxi's unmoving chest,tears rolling down his face. The doctors looked at the two,"Get him out of here,I need to test the black haired boy." Dr. Amines said, turning to leave towards his locker. Two of the gaurds walked over to Zarath,"Get up,you're going back to your cell." Their voices were cold and unforgiving. Zarath looked up at them, a hard gaze on his face. He got up,and followed them.

Back at their cell, Zarath looked at Kara,"Where's Maxi?" She asked innocently. Zarath sat on a bunk with a heavy tone in his sigh,"Kara.....Maxi......he died in the ICU...." he mumbled. Kara looked at him,"No....No....He can't be dead!" She shouted,tears welling up in her eyes. Zarath looked up at her,"Kara! I watched him die! The electrocardiogram went from be

"-ep!" Zarath shouted angerly. Kara had disbelief written all over her face,"It's Maxi though! He can't be dead.... he is one of those people who won't...won't..." She shook her head. Zarath sighed quietly,"I know he is...I don't know...he just went..." Zarath made a slicing noice and imitating slicing his neck. Kara made a face,"That's not freaking helpful." She growled,slapping him on the arm. "OWWWW!" He whined,rubbing his arm. Kara crossed her arms and nodded,"You deserved it." She retorted.

Meanwhile....

Dr. Amines drawed out some of Maxi's blood,"Black as the starless night.....not what I expected." He murmered to himself,quickly scribbling down some notes. "Shoot his heart full of adrinline.. AFTER I shoot him with another vile of this." he said,raising a vile of dark green liquid. By shooting this into him, he'll no longer be to make sonic sound waves..and he'll be able to control anything to do with electrokensis.... he thought,extracting the green liquid into a syringe. Dr.Amines looked at the pictures of the boy's circultory system,"Aha....the jugular." he mumbled,shooting the liquid into the boy's neck. Maxi's body convulsed several times,making it strain against the restraints. His right eye opened,and the iris was a green. "Let me go." Maxi said. His expression looked angery and darker than his normal. Amines stared in complete and utter shock. Maxi growled,"I said LET ME GO!" He shouted,the electricity in the room surged,and a few little lightning bolts came off of Maxi's arms,frying the restraints.

Lol....what are you talking about?

Okay, last time writing chaptar 7,PT 3. And this is the LAST time writing in 3rd person. Lol. I just noticed something,Maxi's powers now are based off of Cole's in 'inFAMOUS'. xD

Ch.7,part 3. Final Part.

Maxi looked at Amines, electricity cracklying of of his arms,"What'd you do to me,damnit?!" He shouted,overriding the electrocardiogram. Amines backed away,"Calm down! You'll end up blowing up this part of the lab!" The doctor exclaimed,grasping for a certain thing.

Maxi's pupils were catlike,"That's what I'm aiming for..." he growled,frying a computer's hard drive. Amines blocked his eyes from the intensity of the explosion,temporarily blind. He could roughly see the fuzzy outline of Maxi. Three snake-like gaurds ran into the rooms,shouting. "Doctor! Where are you at?!" One of them shouted,coughing violently. The other two looked around for Maxi,"Where'd he go,Xenir?!"

"I don't ****ing know,Keisser!" Xenir growled,looking. The room was covered in a dark smoke,and Maxi clung to the walls,heading towards the door.

He sneakily walked out of the door,and ran down the corridor, to his,Zarath's,and Kara's cell. Zarath looked up in shock,"But you-It's not possible!!" he shouted,looking at Maxi. Maxi shrugged,andused a bit of lightning to open the lock. Kara made a squealing noise and looked up at Maxi,"But Zarath said you had died!"

"Yes and No," Maxi said,getting in the cell,"I made it seem like I died,to trick Amines. Sorry Zarath." Maxi shrugged again,"He shot me up with another vile of stuff." He explained,looking down. Kara gently pulled his chin up to make him look at her,"Maxi....you're eyes..... they're green and catlike." She said.
