I was just watching a timeline of Spyro The Dragon online in order to pass the time, and I evidently noticed something wrong with the text in the first cutscene in this game. This moment occurs right after Spyro, Sparx, Bianca, and Hunter go to talk to the Dragon Elder. Here's the text of what the Dragon Elder says to all of them.

Elder: "Spyro! You're back! Something has gone horribly wrong! While you were away, an army of Rhynocs slipped into the Dragon Realms and stole all of the fireflies! Without firefly magic, we are unable to breath fire. To make matters worse..."

Shouldn't the sentence read, "Without firefly magic, we are unable to breathe fire"?

Also, Hunter says this mistake as well. He says this right after the Dragon Elder says his line.

Hunter: Hey! Spyro can still breath fire! Can't you Spyro?

Hmmm... Yeah! I'm surprised nobody posted about picking that up before.

Not to sound rude or anything (or degrade your efforts on creating such a great picture) HopeTriiCky_, but I believe you made a minor mistake in the picture that you posted showing the Text Mistake. In your picture, the dragon doesn't say the word "breath" in that sentence, and instead uses the correct word "breathe". However, I applaud and thank you on your intention to make in image for the text glitch.

However, your image won't go in vain. I have a question for you regarding that screenshot. Which version of this game to you own? The reason I ask this is because the Text Mistake which I encountered occurred on my American copy of the game. But in your version of the game (from the picture you provided), the dragon apparently uses the correct word "breathe" in that sentence. This perplexes me greatly. For you see, if in my version of this game the Elder makes a Text Mistake, and in your version of the game he doesn't, is it possible that the creators of this game made one mistake only available on a particular version of this game? Or is it possible that the creators made a mistake only on my copy of the game?

I've played the European copy again, and I don't see that error.

Thanks for the information, GamingMaster_76. That could probably explain why the error wasn't discovered so quickly. This is probably because the error is most likely only on the American copy of the game. (Maybe when Digital Eclipse were developing the game for the European audience, one of the developers discovered the Text Mistake and fixed it.)

I'll see if it affects my American one later.

He has the Italian version, even if the dialogues are in English.

Thanks for the information, zzsdf. And just to let you guys know, I have the American Version of this game, and it's with this copy that I found this particular Text Mistake.

I just pulled out my game to check. I've got the American version, and it's got the error. I never noticed it before. The developers for other countries must have fixed the error once they noticed it.
