Making a movie off a game franchise isnt easy. Unless you just take cutscenes. In my opinion, making a movie would ruin the games, because it would reveal alot, or just recap the games in an hour. Waste of time and effort. Besides, spyro doesnt have much to make a movie from, since you play his "life" in the games.

It's the same way as making a movie about a book, comic series, TV show, etc.

You do your research by reading the books, watching the show, playing the game or whatever, and you make a script off of it, and you have the bare bones of your movie.

The Spyro movie was actually going to be the first in a trilogy. It was going to be one movie for each LoS game, just like how The Last Airbender is one movie for each season.
