And Activision may have been looking at the forums at our opinions, since they recently deleted a topic from there associated with the next game they're working on.

We just know the voice actor, the release date, and its test title.

If they continue with LOS I want less combat, more ming games and quests, more humor, I want Spyro and Cynder to be young and cute again, I want Cynder's TEN personality, Spyro should loost the messed up snout, and Spyro should also be a little lighter, and get Sparx to tell funnier jokes. Have Spyro meet Iggy again, too.

I think it would be great as a minigame, like in Crash:MOM. Basically you stand in the ring and you must kill all the enemies within the time limit, survive for the time limit, or protect a targe from the enemies. Just a suggestion...

Yeah, beat 'em ups are getting real boring, real quick now. Even Banjo Kazooie is no longer a platformer, but a vehicle game..... Despite fans wishing it was a platformer again.

Honestly, I'd rather play Bubsy 3D (!!!!!!!!!) than another combat game.

Or, a mix of both of the games.....

Lets just continue talking about this upcoming game
It's been two years (longest period of time without a Spyro game)
Imo I hope they took that time to fix some of the flaws done in the previous releases
and overall make it enjoyable
I'm not really getting my hopes too high though
only time will tell =/
We don't even have any pictures or videos yet
we can just speculate c:

Wow easily dark cynder 543. Its a character nothing to get worked up. I just gave my opinion. What i meant is classic spyro is just as sarcastic as cynder, but hey its whatever. Me well i like their new design because it looks up to date, but the old design is cool as long as they make them look a bit more like dragons in the game. I dont see anything wrong with spyro's and cynders design other than some small details that need to be improved upon. as well as with the other guardians too. Now how some people take cynders form abit too far onto the un normal side then thats their problem. Lets just be patient guys we got some more info on the next game soon, i bet info will be released by E3 for sure.

I do want more platforming. My idea is keep free flight, but make it something unlockable after the main game. Like beat game = unlocked flight.

i don't care what series the new game is in it's still the badass(watch my language) purple dagon that kicks butt.and i can't wait to play it.

Well, a Spyro game usually takes one year to make, and it turns out good. So if they spent two years on a Spyro game, it must be really good. I mean, they had heaps of time, and a Spyro game doesn't take this long to make. I will accept the time spent on it if it was a game like Zelda, but Spyro....

I hope the wait was definitely worth it.

We've known that since the vid was posted..... It could still be a prototype name though.

And it probably won't be named Legend of Spyro as part of the final title. That is if Activision wanted to make another Legend of Spyro game as a sequel to DotD.

Yeah, no matter what universe they set it in, I don't think they'll re-use 'Legend' in it.

And I just noticed the words 'The Legend' since I was only paying attention to the Spyro's Kingdom test title. This is probably the reason why yearofthe said it was a Legend game.

Hmm interesting, maybe it is set in the LOS universe but thats not the title or official title, just maybe it was put there to give an idea for the guys making the title test as to what universe it'll be in. But again only DS and Wii come up man oh man.

They'll probably do it on other consoles too, S240. And prices will be high as usual.

Krome Studios was already started their work on DotD after they did TEN, but Sierra took the project to EL to let them do it.

Well price aint a issue for me im gonna pay 100 bucks for GT5, but it may effect others who want it, but lets hope so spyro will be on other consoles aura, now im still trying to figure out what could possibly be the plot for this game let alone what storyline and features this game will introduce.

Well they had better release it on DS because I already planned to put it in my game carrier and I have nothing to fill in for it.

I'm getting really nervous now. So far the new things that involve my fav characters ruint them.

Sonic's new voice and Taz's new look.

I hope they don't ruin Spyro.

EDIT: Nevermind I just heard Sonic's real new voice and it's awesome.

They're going to make it for the DS too obviously.

I think that I'm the only one that's nervous about this game.

Don't jump to conclusions, Shrazer. We still don't know for sure what universe the next game will be in. If it's set in the LoS universe, I doubt it will be after DotD, unless Activision has other plans.

Why the hell would Activision use the original world? Especially since I don't think they'd be able to (legal issues) and they've STATED that they are continuing Spyro in the Legend universe. Why the hell do people keep conveniently forgetting or ignoring this?

If they want to,they can
simple as that.
But are they are going to do that?
We don't know for sure.
Activision Blizzard owns Spyro's IP now .
So I don't think theres would be any issues with them making it in the original world...

Or maybe they are too darn lazy and haven't gotten around to it. I wouldn't get your hopes up for an all console game this year, or maybe even next year.

A game can take a year or more to take. For a full game like the LoS trilogy, I would expect a year to set plot, pick voice actors, design things, and such. Then a year to REALLY make the game. If LoS had stayed in the original form it was in (cartoony), I would have expected DotD to take a year. However, because of the sudden change, I would have expected AT LEAST two years.

A good game doesn't always take 3 years, and it doesn't always take just a few months. The people working on the game need to work productively but not rush to make a good game.
