I like the minions in ANB better. These one creeeep me out. All that creepy moaning. I HATE the death hounds.

I liked the TEN ones better... they were in my opinion more aggressive and over all more challenging than the ANB enemies.

But when you mix the two together in the Dragon Challenges... then it gets awesome.

Of course now that I have unlocked Dark Spyro they are pretty easy. Though they are still pain in the bahookie.

I have a creepy fangirl crush on Gaul and I've done drawings of the ANB apes. I'd say that qualifies as liking them.

I like ANB apes more.They sounded so funny and all in that game!Now they sound like they have frogs in their throats.Also,the invisible apes and death hounds are annoying!I like the enemies in ANB better!

I miss all the bright colors of the ANB apes (and Dark Cynder's questionable costuming for the ones in Concurrent Skies ).

I should see if I can't find a clip of Gaul's laugh somewhere. It's a good one. And anyone who's visited my gallery should know about the Gaul crush by now. I've done way too many pictures of him from behind at this point.

Anyone who can tell me what "hounds" means?

And I kind of miss ANB's silly, laughing minions with their colorful costumes. Now they are just scary and those death hounds are very annoying.

DS version only. They try to stay away from you while attacking with powerful and quick lightning waves.

As long as we're talking about apes, I have to admit I liked the ones in TeN more, for they had more abilities (teleport, invisibility, etc.). The outfits were better in AnB, though (loved the ones in Tall Plains).
The enemies were in my opinion far better in AnB, for more than one reason:
- originality: AnB's enemies were completely made from scratch, and thus it was fun discovering their attack patterns and their reactions to the various elements; TeN enemies were, with the exception of the annoying death hounds and rare slugs, all copies of the AnB ones, so fighting them was like a looong deja vù.
- variety: there are actually more enemy types in AnB than in TeN, without counting dupes: that, and they are way more colorful than their TeN's dark and grim counterparts.
- annoyingness: the enemies in AnB never tried to attack you while you were flying over a bottomless pit; the ones in TeN like to do that a lot, e.g. the spiders in the swamp or the ogres in Malefor. In AnB, when you're hit one time, they wait for you to get up and at least try dodging their next attack, a thing they don't let you do in TeN (how many times I died only because I took multiple hits from an enemy who didn't even let me breathe...)

don't 4get the dreadwings and the assiasins they were able to attack from the air by using this some sorta attack...

TEN, more of a challange.....

ANB easyer than TEN as i'v already said once before it took me a MOUNTH to beat TEN and 3 days to beat ANB!

i say i like the TEN apes better but dotd looks like stronger, harder enemies are to come

In ANB those monkeys sure were funny .In TEN they are boring...

But they weren't that hard, it only took about two days to beat it, or at least that's what I remember. And I agree, the ANB monkeys were funny, like when they looked around and then ran away.

The apes on ANB were funnier... there's just way too many of them on TEN, so you haven't got a chance to find them funny. They're just annoying. The only little minion-type enemy I like is the pirate on the Pirate Ship level that sits in the lift.

Death Hounds are really horrible. I HATE them.

I like Dreadwings somewhat. Hell knows why.

I love those orb spiders in Celestial Caves... I find them cute.
