(one summer later..)
………hey im back…..I..I ..don’t know where to start
Kasey looked down at the crisp new purple notebook she had bought just three week earlier. It had sat gleaming on her desk for those weeks reminding her of what wasn’t going to be. Kasey grabbed the edge of the paper “no…I have to” Kasey said to herself and released hr grip on it.
At first I didn’t know what to think as I read the short but detailed email early Saturday morning, I sat silently staring at the screen for at least 30 minutes before I called carter. He grimly read out the same words on his own screen. ‘I hate this. They cant do this ‘ I exclaimed , his end was silent for 5 long minutes. ‘ Kasey we have 5 weeks…lets make them count.’ he finally spoke. I felt the tears I had tried so hard to keep at bay , spring up like blooming flowers at may. ‘ okay carter I’ll see you soon, bye’ I pulled the phone away from my ear and heard him muttering something as I hung up.
Okay so I guess your dieing to know what the news is sooo . OH WAIT moms calling BRB…..
Kasey sighed wastefully and closed her notebook and stood up from her chair.
‘sounds like life to me’
She wrote across the front of the notebook then ran down stairs.
