Ok... Right, does the top open? Not to look in at where it prints, but where you put the paper in? If its glass there, put the paper in. Then if you've installed it, a thing should be in 'ALL PROGRAMS' that says 'SCAN' or something.

That's what I do...

No. There should be a flat bit where it sucks the paper in to print on, but that should have a cover. Lift the top part of the cover, and you should see glass, and a scanner like inside, and put the paper, drawing down, in there.

Yes. So, after you've scanned, does it get saved onto the computer?

I'm going to buy myself a scanner tommorow, but i have a question.

When you draw something, like a lineart. When you scan it onto the computer can you get good quality drawings? As in you can colour them good on gimp, photoshop e.t.c

Meh, i usually draw with pencil first, then rub out the mistakes with a good quality rubber. Then i outline it in black pen, just to make the detail's stand out smilie

I was gonna get the art tablet at first, but i thought, whats the point? With and art tablet i can only do digital art. But the scanner i'l be buying, which is only £50, will let me do both digital and traditional art. I'm great and better at traditional, so i want to show of good quality works, instead of getting blurry images with my webcam >.< smilie

I have a HP Printer, so when I scan, a window pops up and you have to click on "scan" and all. It's easy.

But if you don't have a HP Printer, then I don't think I can help you. xD
