What do you think? Probably not the Wii, but maybe the PlayStation3 or Xbox 360?

I'm not sure how it's going to work, since Spyro: Season of Ice along with other GBA games are well, GBA games that serve their purpose within the limitations of the hardware. Those Spyro games tried to stay their best to behave like the originals while losing some of the elements that feel like a good Spyro game originally suited for the gaming console: actual voice acting, and the point of view from fully 3D roaming into an isometric feel. Here are two choices that the developers will do for the game:

"Porting" is literally just that, a literal port of the software that tries to work around the obstacles in order to make the game run. However, "Remaking" would be a different case.

For example, if that Spyro was remaked for the Wii, PS3, Xbox 360 -- the developers would have to first pick which type of media form would the game be like: Physical form, or as a digital downloadable. I think having a remake as a downloadable is better because you can buy it with less money, and a presumely less expansive development push. The next step would be completely trying to rework all the cranks and yanks of all the pieces of the game: the levels, the scenes, the sprites into textures, etc.

If that wasn't enough, probably the developers would have to add new goodies to freshen up the gameplay like adding new collectibles and tasks.

Unfortunately, this is an only "What if?" scenario, since future Spyro games are now set in the Legend of Spyro universe. Still, it's a possibility for Activision Blizzard to do such a thing -- only if there's enough support from the Spyro fans. X3

Cool you've read my mind. I can imagine a PS2 remake of all the GBA Spyro games like they did with Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

Not sure actually, I played it for a little while once before when I borrowed it, I didn't really think much of the levels, so why would it be much different on console? The levels would still be the same layout, only in third person. To be honest, I'd think they'd probably be too easy on console, since you can see everything as from the levels I've played are all on the same height and collectibles can only be out of sight on the Game Boy by not seeing passed out of the screen, how would they do that on console?

You're awfully silly.
Have you noticed that the difference between portable and stationary consoles males all the difference in game?
Better graphics, legitimate voice acting, more areas to explore, easier control, better depth perception, etc., etc.

They would need to give it such a massive overhaul for it to be any good that they may as well make a new, better game instead.

How? They were pretty good... Have you played them and beat them? And your list of systems... No. PS1 was the hope, and I think Sony no longer makes ISO.
