On the back cover of SOF, it said that Spyro can swim, but you lose a life when you fall in water.

I know! But since the creaters made this similar to Year of the Dragon, and he does swim in Year of the Dragon. This is what happened, the publishers acciendently put that down because they thought that this was a GBA version of Year of the Dragon.

I wish I could see.I have the game but I got it 2 days ago at gamestop
for pre-owned.That is weird anways.

I 100% agree with SpyroxCynder.They really should of checked dat.

The developers where going to make Spyro swim in Season of flame, and they even prepared the animation and script and EVERY thing, however after all that hard work, they realized that swimming was kinda pointless and did not improve gameplay since the only reason swimming is useful is when you can dive underwater but thats impossible in a 2d game so they scraped it.

They must have forgotten to take it out of the blurb.

That's strange...I've beaten this game loads of times. but there IS a cheat for you to stay out of the water. Like in the levels, (not the home worlds) but there's a cheat that makes you float back up to the ground if you accidentally fall...

I don't have just SoF alone. Mine's on the Crash & Spyro Super Pack Volume 2. On the back where there's SoF it just says 'Someone has stolen all the fireflies from the Dragon Realms. It's up to Spyro to find them!'.
