That's right! It came last night... along with a pair of tickets to a hockey game on Thursday from some family friends living in Boston! I GOT The Eternal Night!

...and I made it through the opening level in the game. I was quite satisfied with the length of the level, and difficulty. Although, I found a sure-fire way to take down enemies like the Snail Rider. I merely air meleed him, than while I was still in the air, I Comet Dashed him, rise, lather, repeat and I dodged all his attacks and KO'd him quickly.

The Assassin was wicked easy... but it was still nice to have a boss in the opening level. I'm also really liking Billy West. He's doing a really good job as Sparx. ^.^

yes at first i was like WTF they shouldn't have changed the actor, but billy west does a much better job at sparx cuz spyro is 12 and sparx was born around the same time as him so that means hes 12 and billy west makes him sound more 12ish david spade was very good, but sparx just sounded to mature for how he acted

I love Billy West as Sparx. He actually makes me laugh at his wisecracks, whereas David Spade's Sparx only made me laugh when I wasn't supposed to and the rest of the time I just wanted something to squash him. >D

I live in USA. And it's cool! But I'm not so sure if this Spyro game was made in the US.

It was made in Australia. That's where Krome Studios is.

I haven't even gotten to play it that much. I'm only up to the part in the forest with the really annoying Jellyfish from Convexity. <.<;

Alright... I've gotten out of the Fellmuth Arena, and I'm escaping Skabb's ships. I died about 3 times on Arborick. Every time I beat his first form, I had about one hit of health remaining, and he always got me with his punch. But finally, I got to the part where he climbed up from the lake, and then it was just a matter of using Dragon Time to avoid his stomps and kicks.

The two Blunder Tails in Skabb's arena were freaking annoying. Mainly because the Wiimote wouldn't let me do a tail strike to finish them. The Ravage Rider was easy, too much like Steam. The Executioner was a tad bit more annoying, but I finally decided to use my Aerial Melee/Comet Dash hax to finish him. Then there was the Cynder event. OH MY GOD! MARIO, THEY KIDNAPPED THE PRINCESS AGAIN! It was horribly clichéd. I did a very good Billy West impression when I said the "Oh my god..." thing! ^__^

Also, did this happen to anyone else: the Action Phase music for escaping Skabb's ship is the SAME music as the Swamp Action Phase from ANB. Of course... I had to restart the game, so that might've been the reason. <.<;

BTW, has anyone here collected the ruins? I've done very well for someone who hasn't collected a single one. ;>.>

^ yes, i've collected them all (except for one, but i still know where it is) and i'm only 3 away from gettin all of the feathers, you REALLY have to use your head on those when you get into the last levels

You've collected them all? I only collected like 12! And it's because I ignore them and just get on with the game to see what happens next, and I've beaten it today. *dances in circles*

Dang. How many Scriber's Quills are there? o.O And how do you tell how many you've gotten?

there are 40, and if you pause the game, there will be the menu thingy, and on your right, will be a count for how many quills you got, on the left it will be a count for the dragon relics.

can someone explain to me how to get through the four tiles on the white island. I can get to the end but I cant figurer out the little thing running around. it's probably simple and I'm over looking something but I just can't get it.

I've had it 4 exactly 3 weeks today, i've also beaten gaul like 6 times now tehehe

I got this game on the 7th of October, since my dad went to get me the game Ratchet and Clank 2 and he got another Gamestop card and Gamestop held TEN for me when it came out in that store. And I've beaten it, and it's awesome. Hehe.

Alright, I'm up to the Elemental Dragon. I was ONE simple melee hit from depleting her first health meter (if she even has more than one), when my Wiimote's batteries died, and she tail-slammed me, and I fell off the arena and died! ;~;

The challenges were very easy. As were the spirits. Especially the Fire Spirit.

Skabb was also very easy. Especially the third round, because the Gaul Leaders' bombs could be knocked back at Skabb. Also, there's a timing pattern that if mastered, can let you dodge Skabb's energy waves without the use of Dragon Time. It's not mandatory, it just boosts the challenge factor a little. <.<;

I've tried that could you be a little more specific SpyroxCynder?

like, wait until its heading for you, the dragon time and then do the tail strike, try to land on top of it, and it will be like pushed into the ground or something. may take a few tries, and it takes a lot of timing

so I just jump on top of it or do I preform a head bash ion it to drive it down?

Huh. I never tried that. I would just always jump over them, but somettimes it gets me anyways. Maybe I should try it.
