Usually something is a major disappointment when it goes from a Movie to a game...

Let's hope the opposite is false.

'The Game-to-movie had better NOT be disappointing.'

It's not gonna bother me either way. The fandom soured me on LoS for the most part (and then I took stock of what LoS actually is and the games themselves did the rest of the work smilie). I might see the movie if I can see it for cheap.

Uh Spyro isn't a major impact on my life so I could probably forget about it/blow it off after a few months.

Based on the earlier info we got, you will not have to wait as the originally stated plan was for it to go straight to DVD, which would ensure that it would not have to great of an effect on game sales as only fans would get it.

Personally, I don't know what to say about this film. I do know that I will be watching my own Spyro film since it will be free. Then there is the plot...

Uh... actually, I do know what to say about the film. I say: What is the point of making this film? The story is already been done in the video game. What more can they do with the story other then change it and if they do that then it won't really be based on the video game anymore. Will it?

As for my film... LOA has a plot and storyline that can put the entire Legend of Spyro trilogy to shame and that is just the first film of the planned LOA trilogy. All three LOA films, when done, will easily outdo the Legend films. Then again, the franchise has been so totally ruined any fan-made film with a half decent plot can do Spyro better then the official guys can.

Face it... we fans have more creative talent then the big boys who actually own this franchise. They know it and we know it even if they refuse to admit it.

So, when the film is released I'll just stay home and work on either LOA films or some of my other projects. If you guys want to go waste your money that is your choice but advise you guys to save your money. Considering how screwed up our economy is now who can afford to waste money like that...

Uh... scratch that. The very rich can afford to go see the film and buy popcorn, drinks and candy and still afford dinner afterwards. While we poor people barely have the money to get a stinking ticket to get in the stupid theater. Forget the popcorn. Unless we sneak in our own food then we are not going to have anything to munch on during the feature. So save your money. Even if you are a big fan of the franchise save your money and buy the DVD, forget the Blu-ray... to damn expensive.

I just know it will be awesome. Hey, we're talking about our favourite purple dragon here! And he's going to be on the big screen for the first time! And, in 3D! Even better!. . .

So, who's with me?

My knowledge of how Hollywood works and the typical CGI film stupidity say otherwise. =/

Because it is a game adaption thing, I don't think it will be popular enough among the general public to air on the movie channels.

It might make HBO at best.
This movie is probably designed to be a Spyro/dragon fan kindof thing.

I don't know what to think of the film. I don't even think a spyro film should be made! Spyro+ movie= WHAT?! But I haven't seen the movie yet so I won't know until I see it.

You'd be surprised. Movie networks often tend to put anything on these days...
