I honestly hadn't noticed at all, but I'm not all that active anymore. dark's probably just waiting for us to leave so he can finally pull the plug.

i guess this is the beginning of the end. its sad to see this place go, but this place is just a skeleton of something that once was. we had a good run folks.

Wow this all sounds depressing. Did Dark just give up hope that the Spyro franchise would continue? I wonder if he'll start letting people join again if we get a new Spyro game.

jokes aside, i think with crash team rumble, there's some precedent for a new spyro game. or at least spyro appearing in that. also genuinely i would looooove to work on a spyro game

Activision is too busy trying not to implode after enough allegations to nuke any other company and milk their slightly stronger IP of crash bandicoot before dumping resources into another spyro project

i suspect there have been a lot of spambots/spiderbots trying to join the forum, these bots join only to spam advertise and collect info on users etc. these crap bots can be a security hazard if you not have your web place up to date. the first thing you can do to stop these is to close down the registration.

theres another forum i was thinking of joining that's infested with those

every board has those very much these days they fill up registration pages a lot normally there are security stuff you can put up but i do not know what he has set up for the forum

if you have email registration hey normally just block up the registration page and do not end up on the forum but there can be a whole lot of them in the registration list

I went through the User IDs past the most recent user and, interestingly, some of them are Rhynoc'd while others are simply Crystalized.

It’s a shame, honestly. I feel bad I didn’t come back a little bit sooner. This was a fun little corner of the internet, and I made some good memories despite my time here not being as long as others.

Still, it’s nice seeing some people still being active on here, even if the site is on its last hairs. It kinda heartwarming in a way. I guess it speaks volumes about how impactful Spyro really is! It’d be nice if a new game was announced, if only to see this place as lively as it once was. :]

it could be close now the end of this old forum but you never know probably not he may just keep it up because that is what he would want to do for whatever reason

i hope the guides will still be up. they're the best thing to come out of this website.

Either way it goes, it's been a good time. Lotta bad, but mostly good.

It feels very sad to me. This would not have been the case a few years ago. I swear that whole pages of the boards would be filled within a couple of hours.

i do agree with you clank if the board were to close i would be sad in a way this was somehow the only forum i kept up with that i did not own a part of because i more frequented chat rooms and it would be weird not to see all you other kooky people every other day i do not know maybe it is quiet now because all of the trouble makers the genuinely mean spirited ones i mean have been removed that would be sad to think about but maybe more a combination of us all just later into our adulthood and young adulthood and busy with school and work and relationships and all of that it does make me wonder if something were to happen with the the little purple fellow if the forum would have a second breath then
