^ That’s pretty freakin cool. I think having a really smart pet like an octopus would be pretty sweet, although I doubt I’d have the skill to take care of one well lol

Harris hawk. Not as a housepet, but as a falconer’s animal. Alas I am too much of a softie to go hunting and have to skin animals and also I don’t have the time nor means to take care of a hawk

a tiger would be really fun but there's no way i could take care of it plus that's kind of illegal and not great for the animal

good point with those foxes. i've heard of ones that are maybe tame. if wolfdogs are tame i think thats more realistic for me than a big cat but still idk if that's legal or if i have the resources to take care of it properly

I would have loved a Spinosaurus, but it is actually unknown if they would have been domesticated or not had they survived extinction.

Also recently I learned about the sailfin dragon! They’re actually fine in captivity as long as all their needs are met, and can even form bonds with humans, but the problem is they’re so often trafficked in the pet trade it would be hard to find one that was not taken from the wild. Also they need lots of space because they’re a fair size.
