There is no competition here because we all know Monsuno’s the best. And who could forget about Kaijudo? Future Card Buddyfight? Dinosaur King? Invizimals? Spectrobes? Chaotic? Fossil Fighters?

Spectrobes and Chaotic were legit, but their development was just all sorts of screwed up.

We really need a third alternative now that Yo-Kai Watch basically threw the tower and stuck to its own fanbase.

I think Chaotic's trying to return. The video says it's confirmed, but sometimes things don't make it that far.





Ah, Invizimals. I was really into how much they were trying to push that this was reality, that there were actually tiny creatures scrapping as we went about everyday life.

Fossil Fighters 1 and 2 were the bomb, but I didn't like Frontier. I should really replay them sometime! (Also, I remember Monster Legends!)

No one told me the Yo-Kai Watch scores slapped so hard. Go 'head, Keinchiro Saigo, get it. I'm glad I suddenly remembered this oddball of a franchise exists. It's pretty interesting that for a time in Japan an undead chocoholic cat stole Pikachu's spotlight.
